We recently sold through Village Estates and received a very good service. We had a horribly drawn out selliing experience due to inconsiderate buyers and Jack and Jamie at the Bexley branch of VE were extremely helpful and supportive during this process. They were professional at all times and always gave us time to discuss our concerns. VE have dedicated 'progressors' who work to ensure your sale/ purchase goes through smoothly. It's when complications arise that you realise how important a good, well organised Estate Agent is and we were more than happy with the service we were given by VE in Bexley.

We opted to go with Village Estates due to their great reputation and they didn't let us down. During a very difficult sale, when we lost our buyer after 6 months due to a change in their circumstances, we were desperate to sell again as quickly as possible. The team at VE couldn't have done any more for us and we accepted a new offer less than 3 weeks later. I have to mention Jamie in particular, who was so dedicated to our cause and helped finally push the new sale through, always available on the phone and giving us straight, honest answers, even though some of them weren't easy at the time! I would highly recommend!

Recently used Village Estates to sell a property in Joydens Wood. The team were great from start to finish, providing useful guidance when we ran into problems along the way. There is a great feeling of teamwork at Village with everyone working towards the goal of customer satisfaction. There was always someone available whenever I contacted them who would get back to me promptly if the query couldn’t be answered there and then. Sale of my bungalow was all going smoothly until my buyer decided to do her own thing and set her contract exchange and removal date earlier than agreed without telling her solicitor and estate agent, and also trying to get me to move out even though I was unable to get a removal company to change the originally agreed date. We had an issue with one potential buyer dropping out of the sale, due to personal reasons, but Village were able to secure us another buyer very quickly and at a time of year when we thought we would get little response. At the end of the day, they care about the highest bidder which is understandable. More frustratingly so, they care more about you dealing with their in-house broker as they profit and get kick backs from this arrangement. If you don't deal with their in-house broker, then consider your application dead as they will not highlight you to the seller and likely downgrade your application. Sean at the Bexley branch is one to avoid as he is rude and will talk over you. Ultimately, all the staff are incentivised in this way! They will promote to the seller the buyer who will deal with their in-house broker to maximise their profits. Try to stay away from these agents unless you're happy to satisfy their every request. If not, don't expect any updates, replies to emails or call backs to keep you in the loop. Despite how they may respond to my review with fancy words or whichever defense they decide to take, please take careful note on how things work with Village Estates.
