GoogleLooked to buy a detached property which had just come on the market at Queen’s court. The advisers where friendly and Informative, however my issue is with the business itself. I was told they would offer me a part exchange on my property but after viewing, they gave me no offer at all, not even 80% of market value for example. I was told on the day I reserved the house that someone else called after me about the same property. I suspect if this other party was in a position to buy straight away (I.e no home to sell) they took them up as a buyer instead. Especially since going back to the estate not one week later it now shows as ‘sold’ for this property. All about the money.
Edit: to the reply from Barratt - what is contacting you going to do? Magically get you to part exchange for the property I had reserved first? No. All false advertising.

GoogleIt's a new build housing estate with 'meh!' houses. There is no sign of solar panels or heat pumps or any other modern efficiency technology beyond maybe double glazing and cavity wall insulation, which is ancient technology now. Doubt there is ducting inside for air con. They seem small for the price with limited garden space. They seem very expensive for what you get.
