GoogleBy far the worst housing experience I have ever had. If I could give 0 stars- I would. The lack of response on the team’s end is not only unprofessional, but actually laughable. It took months for Dermot to fix our boiler which meant we lived without hot water until he finally answered his phone. There was an insane amount of mould in the apartment from the previous tenants, which was not taken care of before we moved in. The back door was also broken- and even with many promises that it “would be fixed next week” we ended up moving out with the issues still there. The rest of the team is equally unresponsive. Finally, we have been trying to get our deposit back since October and the team is blatantly ignoring our emails. We have not been issued any type of bill of information regarding this. If I can give you one piece of advice: not rent with Select NI!

GoogleNever rent with this company if you want your health to be good. Have been renting a house in holylands since September and when I moved in there was severe mould in most of the rooms. The bathroom had a whole wall covered in mould, as does my bedroom. The landlord doesn't respond to your texts until it comes to missing rent then they're on you to pay. I've developed eczema since living here (which I've never had before) from the black mould on my walls, I have had a severe headache for a month so far and constant sore throat. Our shower leaked through to downstairs and created a hole in the ceiling. The landlord has ignored our calls and texts about this since November (3 months). They also refused to address the heating problem for ages so we didn't have hot water or heat for months in the winter. Not to mention a rat problem including a rat which has been rotting in our boiler cupboard since october, creating a foul smell in the house. Don't ever rent with this joke of a property company.

GoogleCouldn’t move into the house for a couple weeks right off the bat as the property was in disrepair, causing us to argue to get part of the rent laid off for that month. Got a weird look for asking for it in writing so we couldn’t be screwed over. Never fixed key issues throughout the tenancy such as broken freezer, and broken outlet plugs reported multiple times since the start of the tenancy (which is a safety hazard in of itself). Seemed like only two people work at the agency and less than half of our calls for repairs went answered.
Not to mention our contract was altered once, months before we moved in and this was not reflected in the records hence the ‘rent collector’ agency worker sending out a request for money we did not owe with a late fee attached to the cheekiness of it (given how we were treated throughout). Had to hound the agency to update the records to start the process of the deposit scheme releasing our deposits back.
Awful renting agency and poorly run. Never again.

GoogleOur stay in BT12 was very pleasant. We didn't face any problem with the agency. Yes it was difficult to contact the agent sometimes leading to multiple trials however the job would get done. Infact many lights etc have been changed without any charge. We have even received deposit back on time. So overall good experience unlike other agencies.

GoogleBy far the worst property management I have ever seen. Took my daughters money dumped her belongings failed to Adhere to health and safety matters. My daughter has now chronic asthma from the damp and mould in one of the houses which resulted in her being admitted into resuscitation. I reported the mould numerous times completely ignored mould is dangerous please beware!!!!
