GoogleIn relation to purchasing a property.
We had such a lovely experience with Property People. Nicolaus has been who we've been working with since the beginning.
To start with, we went to view a property during an "open house". All seemed very American-ised to me so I was hesitant but it was absolutely amazing. The house was gorgeous, candles in every room, agents offered us prosecco and crisps etc and it just added to the viewing experience.
Placed an offer literally 2 minutes after leaving the open house and after about 1-2 weeks "bidding war" we were so happy to have our offer accepted.
Moving into our first home this weekend and Nicolaus has continued to make the process feel really seamless and stress-free. He seems really invested in us and the whole process and has 100% made me believe that not all estate agents are awful..!
Recommend this agency wholeheartedly. They go the extra mile and all of the properties they list for sale seem to be of really high quality.

GoogleHaving trouble getting a room in Belfast for my upcoming masters I decided to call into Property people. Within a few days I had a room sorted. They understood my needs and went above and beyond to ensure I got a room in an area I wanted. Communication was great and I was free to ring and email with quick responses in both tending to any questions or worries I had. as with many sales the pictures were often better than the let however the room was still of good size and standard. In a time where it is so hard to get accomodation I was delighted to get anything decent at all.

GoogleMe and a fried had decided to rent a house in Belfast. We visited one of their properties and noticed some issues, but they promised they were going to fix them before the beginning of our tenancy, so we signed.
When we arrived, they had not fixed a thing and we discovered even more issues with the property which was under no condition to be rented. They paid no attention to our complaints and claims until we had to find a solicitor and, luckily, we could cancel the contract with his help.
Never trust this company, just rent somewhere else.

I am sorry you feel you had a negative experience with ourselves although what you have said is not accurate. I have spoken with the staff involved and reviewed the notes on your tenancy. Please see below the facts of you tenancy I believe not only have we acted fairly in your case but have also went out of our way to allow you into the property as you had no accommodation available and facing homelessness.
• Prior to moving into property both tenants attended property and understood that renovations were required. We asked if it was possible to delay move in date but tenants insisted on moving in and agreed for works to be completed during tenancy
• 3rd September, Tenants provide list of issues with property, a lot of these issues were things discussed prior to move in. Issue raised about heating and agreed for contractor to attend following day
• 4th September - Heating Engineer attended property at agreed time of 2pm, no answer. No answer on telephone either.
• 5th September, Tenants speak to landlords contractor in the property and were provided with his contact number. Asked to make him aware directly of any issues they have with property as he was appointed by the landlord independently, not Property People
• 9th September, Email from solicitor requesting that tenancy was terminated with immediate effect. Due to issues experienced by tenants we agreed ending tenancy would be best course of action. We request for keys to be returned.
• 11th September, Email sent to solicitor and tenants asking for confirmation on when keys would be returned. Solicitor confirms tenants wish to remain in property until they can find alternative accommodation.
• 12th September, Phonecall/Voicemail/Text/Email sent to tenant asking for them to contact office to discuss tenancy. It is agreed that they will not be charged rent from the 1st-8th September but as they have requested to remain in the property they would pay 80% rent from the 9th September until they return keys. Tenants again advised to deal directly with landlords builder with any repairs required.
• 16th September, Property People contact tenants to see if any alternative accommodation has been found, advised applications made
• 19th September, Property People again contact tenants to see if any updates around works or alternative accommodation
• 23rd September, Tenant advised new accommodation found and keys to be returned 24th September
• 26th September, No communication from tenants and keys not returned on agreed date. Email sent to tenant requesting update.
• 27th September, Keys returned by tenant
• Full deposit returned to tenants and rent refunded at agreed date (no rent charged between 1st-8th)
