GoogleI would put 0 star if I could. They confirmed a visit for us and once we arrived, they acted as if they had tried to reach us and cancel the visit, while they were not even able to tell our name or number. The worst thing is that they don’t even seem to care and they don’t even apologize. All in all, unprofessional, unorganized, and rude. You would better avoid this place.

YellNo communication at all.
My daughter is a single mum, been waiting to hear about a property for a few weeks now we’re hoping she gets it as the landlord of her current house is shocking. However the communication from STACEY is dreadful!!!! Have to phone the office as she doesn’t answer any emails. Agents are meant to help get someone the house! Shocking service from Stacey!

GoogleCharged us an £30 reference check fee each (£150 in total) even though this is completely illegal in Northern Ireland. The Housing Advice NI website has guidance on claiming this money back from them - unfortunately we didn't keep a receipt and so couldn't do it, but if you must go through this company then make sure you keep a receipt and reclaim the illegal admin fee once you have moved in.

At first appearance the company looks and acts like a professional rental company. Alex in particular gives the impression that he's a friendly, family man who can't do enough to help. But words mean nothing when not followed up by action. From data protection and compliance breeches to avoidance of dealing with serious complaints brought to his attention.I can see how Alex could be seen as a helpful friendly professional rental agent if there are no serious issues to rectify.If you are landlord or perceptive tenant considering using this company i would seriously consider this. If only because full personal data on other tenants/landlords etc are shared freely to other neighbouring tenants by Alex Mitchell personally.You can also expect to find tenants & landlords etc full personal details on display in the office for anyone to see including: *bank account details *Full Name *Address *Phone Numbers etcKeep an eye out in the press for full details.

GoogleWorst service ever. I rented a private room for 10 days and the day I tried to move in I found out that they messed up and the people living in the room I’m renting from are still living in there, and so they gave me another room with someone else in it to stay the night. Not only did they mess up the room situation they didn’t even bother giving me a call about this and only left a note in the envelop with the key. The other girl living in the room they changed me to to stay temporarily said they did not tell them anything about another person moving in either, she just walked in one night and saw someone else’s stuff all over the other side of the room (my stuff) and was a complete shock to her.

GoogleIf I could give 0 stars I would. Avoid like the plague! Sneaky extra fees, ridiculous attempts to take our deposit back at the end of the tenancy, e.g. charging a cleaning fee after we'd spent 2 full days cleaning before moving out, plus the flat was filthy when we moved in. Don't give these people a single penny.

GoogleWe were a French couple renting an appartement 2 years ago with premier student property. It was tough (almost impossible) to get an appartement in Belfast because we had no local guarantor at the time. The landlord and them gave us a chance, so thanks for that !

Been using Mitchell Prop for 4 years now renting out 2 houses, good firm, get rent through on time and they keep me up to date with things that are happening, recommended a few friends to them and they are v happy too
