Had to organise last minute accommodation in December and found a house through Piney. They were extremely attentive and helpful in organising and setting up my lease and were prompt to respond to any queries I had. They made the moving out process very clear, with checklists and advice emailed to us to assist everything went smoothly, as well as clear and consistent communication regarding any viewings or work being done to the house. I was with Piney letting agents for my 2nd year in university along with a few friends and cannot recommend them enough. I dealt with Byron Campbell for my time with Piney. Any problems or issues that arose, they were dealt with straight away and fixed in no time. Also any emails that were sent, Byron’s response was always quick and he was always helpful. I plan to have another student house with Piney in my final year of study as they are definitely one of the best student letting agents in Belfast!

Piney began managing our student property after about 4 months into our tenancy and the contrast between their standard of service compared to the Agency we were previously with was like night and day. Any issues we had (and there were a good number thanks to the poor service received from the previous agency) were resolved quickly and properly. Very attentive staff and easy to communicate with. Came there for advice, left pretty happy and satisfied. ^^ Wanted to like go and rent through em, but got nothin, but they then helped me and advised me on what to do, what to look for and how I could go and use propertypal and spareroom which was super helpful to a new person/first time renter. Super friendly people and generally very accomodating and understanding. They dont insist on a guarantor too which gives foreign students a chance to get a place. (Though if you do have one that they accept, you should mention it) But yeah, overall good place and people, check it out ^^

I was with Piney for a year between 2019 and 2021 at stranmillis. I know it has been two years to complain about this, but I was new to the UK at that time and I didn't really know about the renting policy. I have discovered that myself and three other tenants have been ripped off since they deducted our deposit for wear and tear. The agent said that if we couldn't provide evidence of house condition since we moved in, the deposit would be deducted. However, since we moved in, the carpets were already worn out and there was a significant amount of cleaning that needed to be done. I have conducted some research online and discovered that worn-out carpets are considered a part of normal wear and tear in rental properties. The agent representing Piney did NOT take photos of the house condition in the first place, which I have found out is a necessary part of their job. Moreover, they deducted fees for the repair of an old oven from our deposit, even though it was broken since we moved in. We were used to eating out and cooking on stock rather than using oven that time. Therefore, we didn't even notice about oven.

I was a tenant with Piney for two years and had an excellent experience with them. The house I rented with two other people was in very good condition when we moved in, and if there were ever any small issues throughout the tenancy (plumbing, electricity etc.) Piney were incredibly quick to respond, sending someone out to help on the very same day. Our full deposit was returned straight after returning our keys. I would recommend this letting agent to anyone and genuinely think they are a leading example of how all Belfast agencies should operate.

I was with Piney both as a student renting for a year and also working with them as a landlord for 4 years. I mostly worked with their agent Byron Campbell and he always delivered a great service on both sides. Extremely tentative to tenants when we required anything for the house but also very helpful to myself as a landlord when anything needed done to manage the property, leaving very little work for myself to do. Would highly recommend Piney if you need either service!
