GoogleThe most horrible service I have ever had! They did not respond to any enquiries about the property. Forgot to send the form even after several calls and when we finally got the form and returned it the same day, they lost it for over a week and on the calls kept on lying that the form is being sent to the owner. After over a week they admitted they have never seen the email and the next day when I called again to see if they managed to find it, they started laughing on the phone that they just received a call from the property owner to say that they rented the property. Laughing while I was telling them that they were the ones who lost our email for over a week. THANK YOU for keeping us on the line for 3 weeks hoping we will get the house that we really wanted.NegativeResponsiveness, Quality, Professionalism

GoogleWorst ever agent in Belfast... They take deposit on the first day itself once owner confirms application. And after referencing is cleared and done somehow they reject application after 2 weeks using owners name. Owner asked me to buy some of his stuffs e.g. sofa, chair, loanmover, and even used RUG, CURTAIN, GARBAGE BIN etc. When i said I can't buy these thing, they threatened me if I don't buy these stuff then owner will withdraw my application. And they did same. wasted my 15 days. I have already given notice to my current homeowner. Now i will be homeless because of McClarys...

GoogleI have had property rented by McClearys for over 10 years without any problems whatsoever. I find all the McClearys staff more than helpful and as I do not live close to the properties, they organise any repairs immediately without fuss or trouble. I have to question some of the reviews by tenants as it seems some are just venting their anger but not giving specific details - maybe because of damage to property which of course have to be fixed or cost of repairs taken from deposits. I can only speak for myself but as I have said I have had absolutely no problem and will remain with McClearys quality service so long as I have properties to rent.

GoogleReally poor service! I did not expect that an agency could work like that! They never called me back when I had issues to solve. The maintenance is awful. I wouldn't recommend them. Can't wait for the end of my contract!

GoogleCorrupted agency, proper robbers. They operate as if they are in the Wild West. Be careful and go with other agency!! They rent houses in dangerous conditions, threatening tenants and they will not carry absolutely any minimal duty. Illegal practices and no morals.

GoogleAbsolute shambles of a company!! Between palming us off with constant excuses tellin us stuff was fixed move in it isn't but now it isn't their issue and their "handy man" will fix it. Wouldn't deal with this company again. Terrible customer service. Only good thing from this shambles is their external mortgage advisor Mark who deserves 5 stars.

GoogleDon't rent house from McClearys ! They don't help you and they don't give you back money when you finsh renting house !!!

Deposits are held against damages and rent arrears when tenants leave the property. All deposits for properties are held within the tenancy deposit scheme and if there is a dispute regarding the return of said deposit , there is a full redress system in place.

GoogleThe best letting agents I’ve used in Belfast as a tenant - they were always quick to deal with any reported issues and were always friendly and helpful. No double deposit required which was great. Would happily use again if I return to Belfast.
