GoogleThis one-star rating isn’t for Kingston Berkeley, it’s for the lovely conversation I had with Miss Monta Malkalne. For readers' reference, I’ve attached the message I sent after the enquiry. The very next reply from Monta described it as “erratic” and dismissed my apology as “an excuse.” Truly one for the books.
Hope it wasn’t missed that the listing clearly stated it was an "open viewing," and that we later clarified we were open to moving in earlier, not asking anyone to hold the property. It would be lovely if people took a moment to read their own advertisements, and the polite, respectful emails they receive from prospective tenants or clients.
Leaving an honest review isn’t going out of my way, it’s a direct response to how the communication was handled. It’s equally disappointing that basic courtesy wasn’t extended in the first place, which could have easily avoided earning it.

It’s disappointing that you have gone out of your way to leave us a 1 star review.
To be clear of what happened here, Abhaya enquired about a rental property with us. From the questionnaire, one question asks what date someone requires a property from. It is also highlighted in bold writing that if you put another date than the advertised date you would not be offered a viewing.
Abhaya inserted they wanted the property for the end of August, even though the property is advertised as being available for 1st July. Nearly a two month difference.
He seen the open viewing and decided to attend the viewing.
After the viewing he decided to email in three separate emails from three separate channels (our website, property pal & property news) with the same copy and paste template within 3 minutes, each saying he wanted to apply for the property. To which we asked him to stop spamming our inbox for a start and as he had already enquired about this property and as he had put down a different date than the advertised date, he was not offered a viewing and we would not be considering and application for his move in date.
Wanting to rent a property does not give someone the right to spam a business’s inbox. It is unrealistic for someone to expect a landlord to keep a property empty for two months to accommodate their own preferred move in date. Perhaps Abhaya should take more time to read adverts, read the fine print and refrain from spamming people and therefore would not feel the need to be leaving bad reviews.

Every single one of our adverts state we do not take telephone enquiry’s for rental properties. You must submit an online enquiry where you will then get a questionnaire sent back. You would also know this from calling as this is played in a recorded message too. You called the number twice within the space of 30 minutes and left a review online straight away.
You should perhaps read adverts before posting negative reviews.
Looking at your online reviews of other businesses and content of the same. I would say I am more capable than yourself of running a business or a marathon.

With intention to replay to your replay on above score from me.
We have send online forms weeks before Easter and after so your reason in response is zero valid. And just aim to justify possible incompetence or simple lack of care. We also called to and not most polite professional answered telling us to do all online and we used opportunity and told about problem that no one acknowledge us in multiple approches yet. Person never mentioned holidays. We have done multiple approches weeks before Easter and after.
How long is your Easter holidays last?
So score is very justified and fair,however for your polite response I could add half star if you like?
General statement
Dear future buyers you deserve top service as you pay top money and never allow any service providers to make you feel small and unheard. Always value yourself, be polite, be reasonable and ask service that been advertised. So many choices in industry and it's your choice !
