Several letting agencies I was in contact with made the process unnecessarily complicated. In contrast, I saw the apartment Gary was managing on a Friday and had the keys by the following Thursday. Couldn’t recommend this estate agents less. I moved into a property in July that had a pre-existing problem with damp. I was promised that there were works planned imminently to address this. In November, I flagged that the property was severely damp, with black mould in the fitted wardrobes, ceilings etc - anywhere connected to an external wall. I also flagged that I was struggling with back to back respiratory issues. Despite this, nothing was done - I was told that they were “let down by a contractor” yet their new contractor has ignored my messages. My clothes have had to be binned and I can’t use the wardrobes, my kitchen cupboards can’t be used and I have to bin endless amounts of food because it’s covered in mould, and yet again I am off work ill with respiratory issues. There are also mice in the property and despite the ceiling in the kitchen falling through in August the repairs are yet to be completed. My emails go ignored, yet without fail I am invoiced for nearly £1,000 in rent each month bang on time. You couldn’t pay me to let through this estate agents again.
