Finlay Graham Property reviews

This place also goes by Finlay Graham (weird that they don’t have their own label on here). Definitely avoid if you’re renting - I had to leave my lease a few months early for personal reasons and the man who worked there couldn’t have been less compassionate or patronizing. Charged me thousands as a “re letting fee” and threatened me weirdly in an email when I noted how extortionate it was, saying he’d be happy to just let me continue to pay and not look for another tenant (I had even offered to find a new one myself but they didn’t care). I asked others in the business who said the fees were ridiculous and in bad faith. Clearly very money hungry and don’t care about tenants as people.

I would put 0 star if I could. They confirmed a visit for us and once we arrived, they acted as if they had tried to reach us and cancel the visit, while they were not even able to tell our name or number. The worst thing is that they don’t even seem to care and they don’t even apologize. All in all, unprofessional, unorganized, and rude. You would better avoid this place.

Charged us an £30 reference check fee each (£150 in total) even though this is completely illegal in Northern Ireland. The Housing Advice NI website has guidance on claiming this money back from them - unfortunately we didn't keep a receipt and so couldn't do it, but if you must go through this company then make sure you keep a receipt and reclaim the illegal admin fee once you have moved in.

If I could give 0 stars I would. Avoid like the plague! Sneaky extra fees, ridiculous attempts to take our deposit back at the end of the tenancy, e.g. charging a cleaning fee after we'd spent 2 full days cleaning before moving out, plus the flat was filthy when we moved in. Don't give these people a single penny.

Held our deposit for no reason. Remember to appeal on TDS NI if they hold your deposit. Make sure you have proofs to justify your side. We just got the decision.

We were a French couple renting an appartement 2 years ago with premier student property. It was tough (almost impossible) to get an appartement in Belfast because we had no local guarantor at the time. The landlord and them gave us a chance, so thanks for that !

Worst service ever. I rented a private room for 10 days and the day I tried to move in I found out that they messed up and the people living in the room I’m renting from are still living in there, and so they gave me another room with …
