Very disappointing experience. I travelled all the way from LONDON for a scheduled appointment, waited, and no one turned up. There was no communication or explanation, and the appointment time passed with no contact at all. It ended up being a complete waste of my time and fuel money. I would not recommend unless reliability improves. They are saying they did arrive I’ve got proof and sent them an email of the proof I’ve got a Of which I’ve arrived

As a landlord, the experience with CPWalker is way superior to previous agents. The staff are professional, efficient and friendly. Dom did a fantastic job of managing the transition from the last agent and Abbie has been brilliant in dealing with contractors for me. The accounts/admin folk also appear to be efficient. It is good to deal with a managing agent who has a real high street presence - they are accessible and welcoming.

We have recently used C P Walker for both the selling and purchasing process and have found them to be excellent from start to finish. Mark, Caroline, Brenton and Sarah have been friendly, professional and a credit to their profession - nothing has been too much trouble for them, communication was spot on, and most importantly I found them all to be really respectful of both our time and our home when conducting viewings. Although I am very confident that we have found our ‘forever home’ in our new purchase, I wouldn’t hesitate to use C P Walker in the future if needed, and will definitely recommend them to friends and family going forward. They are not transparent on how they charge expenses and keep an enormous share of your deposit!! I've rented a house with CP walker for near 6 years. The house was not in a good state when I moved, but was affordable and CP Walker responded actively to any required urgent fixed. For that, they are very efficient. However, when I left, they charged me an irresponsible and exaggerated sum for garden cleaning, even though I had made a lot of improvements to it during the years I lived there. On the rush of cleaning inside, I did left the grass on the garden a bit high and some old pots and items, nothing that would require more than 5 hours of work, which they rightfully claim. However, their gardener quoted it £400 pounds and never sent a real detailed explanation, so I could never check what was he charging so much for. After near 2 months of disputes, I was driven to accept paying half of it, after the landlord agreed to pay the other half, but I still never got a transparent quote on how it's possible that mowing the grass and cleaning the garden would cost so much. I don't think they manage the deposit return transparently, so be very careful.

I wanted to leave a review specifically for Mark at the Beeston office. We had a VERY stressful house purchase going through over the course of the last few months. Mark not only stepped in to do his job well, I genuinely feel he went above and beyond to get us over the line and moved in to our new home. In an industry where solicitors talk to you in what may as well be an ancient language, Mark explained everything in terms that we could understand and made both myself and my wife feel that we were not forgotten about and also appreciated as customers. I recently moved into a property advertised by CP Walker & son. Process was quite simple. Staff like Maisie and samana were very helpful with the referencing and documents submitting. When I moved in the house some things needed to get done urgently because meter was playing up and not working. Paniel from repairs department was very helpful and kind she provided great customer service and helped me with important information to get things sorted.
