GoogleMy experience with Absolute Agents in Bedford was highly disappointing, particularly when it came to getting my deposit back. Despite maintaining the property in excellent condition and adhering to all guidelines, they unfairly deducted a significant portion of my deposit for issues that were either exaggerated or simply fabricated. It felt as though they were looking for any excuse to take money from me, regardless of whether the claims were valid.
Communication was also frustrating, with the agents being evasive and uncooperative when I tried to dispute the charges. It became clear that they prioritize taking as much from tenants as possible over being fair or reasonable

It’s a shame you felt this way and did not raise this concern direct with us before posting this review. A £60 cleaning invoice for the works required was the minimum we were able to have kept it to, for the required amount of work. This was around 6% of the deposit amount and do not feel this was a significant amount of your deposit, as you claim it to be. We wish you well in your new property

GoogleThey found us dreadful tenants who wrecked the house. Then had to pay the agents again to get the tenants evicted. They didn’t offer any help considering they got us in this mess in the first place. I question what checks they did on the tenants, as they really let us down. We handed the house to these agents in pristine condition, for a year later to be back to square one, thanks to them. I would be very careful

We did as requested find you tenants for the property on a tenant find only basis, after they moved in you always wanted to manage the property directly yourself. We only found out sometime afterwards that you had an issue with the condition that they were living in. We then assisted you with serving the required notice to receive the property back from the tenants. I'm glad that you have received back the vacant property, I'm sorry that the tenants have let us all down with the condition they have handed it back over to you in. Previously, we found a larger local estate agent unbelievably poor, with a couldn't be bothered attitude, and if they thought that we weren't serious buyers/sellers they couldn't have been further from the truth. With the team effort at Absolute, we had a buyer in 10-days, allowing us to formalise our purchase offer soon afterwards. If you are looking for a professional, personalised service then we would strongly recommend speaking to these people.
