Many thanks to Alison Kent on helping me with the sale of my property at Brompton upon Swale. Numerous hurdles presented themselves in the process of the sale all of which which were successfully navigated with Alison's invaluable assistance and hands on involvement . I've dealt with GFW nearly 20 years as my agent for my rental properties in Brompton and have always received excellent service. 10/10 recommendation. Alan

Pathetic web site and I.T. Search ability. This is a company which seems to dwell in the long ago past. First intro to the web site is a series of photographs of staff with names and emails. How about some sales technique in there folks? How about boldly saying ‘ We Sell Property’ How about providing a first page pic of the individual property you are selling without half the page being lost to graphics about the company. Arse about face to put it bluntly. No initiative, no competitive motivation, dull and hard to read and access. Go elsewhere until they reach the 21st century. Update . Posted in response to Company comment . If you search as I did for ‘property for sale in Snape, North Yorkshire’ then you are twenty seventh company from the top. Companies from Bury, Northwich, the West of England and the south and east of England are ahead of you. It took a while to find the property I had seen in your window in Bedale. Then I had a graphics strap with your company details covering a third of the screen. You are happy with your policy, presentation and success. Fine. I just moved on. And yet you are the local agents.

Hi Colin, our home page has links to all aspects of our business including a prominent property search function front and centre followed by feature properties further down the page - there are no staff profiles or individual contact details on the home page, these are included on the individual sector/service pages. We do indeed sell property and have done so successfully since 1979 and in addition provide a wide range of professional services across eight offices providing both a regional and national service. Our individual property listings do include an image of the property along with a description, image gallery, floor plans, EPC information and links to a PDF brochure where available. You put it 'bluntly' but we'll summarise in a professional manner - your review does not reflect our website nor our business and is in our opinion completely inaccurate.

Terrible experience with this company. No empathy for their tenants and money motivated. Newcastle branch is atrocious. Bedale is fine particularly Alison. They wouldn't care less if you were made homeless...Very biased on the side of the landlord.
