It's a shameless company who doesn'tβ¦
It's a shameless company who doesn't care about you at all. Waiting 8 months to relocate difrent apartment. First seven months was told it's a plumbing issue and i need wait, before I can move. Told they can't fix, and after that i was offered difrent apartment, and they let someone else live in before us. And told it's temporary, to be patient and wait. Seriously, how long they will lie to us. There is no end.. Terrible company, never saw anyone else like them.

Think Twice ! If you are about to rent an accommodation managed by Savills. I lived in Sienna House Sutton, their 'don't care' attitude drive me nuts
Think Twice ! if you are about to rent an accommodation managed by Savills. I lived in Sienna House, Sutton. All the issues or bad experience stem from their 'who cares' attitude as rental properties in Sutton are in high demand. Also, they use Community Utilities (CU) as the sole utilities provider at Sienna House which drove me (and a lot of other residents) NUTS.- I paid a higher price for an apartment with a bigger terrace, however, there was hygiene issue (pigeons) in the terrace. I could not even open the window next to the terrace because the feathers and the droppings of the pigeons. I reported /complained in March 2022 and it was not resolved (in fact, Savills did NOTHING ) until I moved out in early 2023. The residential team was very sophisticated in testing tenants' patience and let you give up. They knew that moving house is not easy especially when there was a high demand in rental properties. They were so kind to potential tenants when conducting site visit so that they always have a long waiting list but they will change their masks again when dealing with existing tenants- The sole utilities provider was Community Utilities (CU). They charged me ~390 GBP for the first 19 days. Apparently, it was wrong and it took months to get it corrected. During that time, I sent many emails and phone calls. Like Savills, they were good at testing my patience and resilience. There were many other cases of overcharge, non-issue of bills and then giving tenants surprises ....(search CU at Trustpilot and you can see other people feedback)- Community Utilities did not give the residents the credit of government energy support in the monthly bills since Oct 2022. It was only until late January 2023 when UC provided the tenants a link to the government website to apply the support directly. However, my application was declined by the government because I longer live in Sienna House when I applied. The website emailed me and asked me to contact UC to arrange. When I contacted UC (several times), their only answer were : Please apply through the government website. I felt like I was talking to robots. I was stuck now and lost several months of government energy support. The point about Savills was, when I moved out of Sienna House and applied for the refund of my rental deposit, Savills asked me to either (1) settle the last month of utilities bill in full issued by UC (note, no energy credit was ever given in their bills !) and provided the proof or (2) let Savills deduct the outstanding utilities bills and refund the balance. When I said to Savills that I will settle the bill by the deadline directly with UC because it is a matter between me and UC, Savills said No REFUND will be sent to me until the utilities bill was settled. With that, I suspect that UC (Savills also named it 'Amber' ) and Savills were related companies. Now, when I emailed UC (cc Savills) asking for help regarding the missing energy support, Savills acted like they were non-exist (note ! Savills was super helpful to UC when collecting the money from the last utilities bill). Savills and UC were a perfect combination in testing my patience and stress tolerance. Should I just regard myself as unlucky and let go while all of my friends have already received 400GBP support already by end of March 2023 ?I am keen to see whether Savills will take my feedback seriously and try to help. As a tenant of Sienna House, I had to use UC, not at my choice at all. I hope Savills will provide me with a practical way of contacting someone who can really help (not the residential management team at Sienna House because I have given up on them)

Very professional service! Highly recommended!5/5 Stars πππππ English is our second language, but Mr Greg & Mr Jay from Savills helped us a lot to explain everything to us, and they even offered an extension in order to help us getting all our funds on time, and they even discussed with our solicitor, in order to speed up the process and work together to have a smooth and pleasant transaction.I will recommend Savills to all my friends and relatives. Very nice properties for a live auction where you can make your bid very easy and enjoy the bidding process in the mean time.Once again, thanks again for all your help. Hope to have this transaction completed soon.
Thank you for your kind review, we are happy we were able to help in providing the resolution.

Tamsin Scott of Beaconsfield has been brilliant. She has made the difficult process of moving after 35 years as easy as possible. She is always charming and helpful. She had even researched the history of my house and managed to tell me things I didn't know after living here for so long. Thoroughly recommend .

Just completed our house sale today. Savills Beaconsfield were extremely good throughout the process. Good price, great hand holding and support, would certainly recommend if you are selling your home. All the team, Sue, Ben Dommett etc. were very professional and easy to deal with but a special mention for Tamsin Scott. Thanks to all.

Excellent Block Management
While I can't (yet!) speak for Savills' service more generally, the manager for my particular building (Shikha) has been on top of every problem I've raised and unusually proactive in resolving them.
We really appreciate your kind feedback, Marcus. We are very pleased we were able to help and wish you all the very best for the future.

Condescending and rude attitude but good with response times and viewings
Viewings went well and very responsive. However I did not expect to be spoken to rudely and in a condescending manner from a particular member of their team. Marketing themselves as an agent providing great service but i found the service other than viewings and response time to be extremely poor. Senior member of staff was not helpful either and did not take a balanced stance after complaint submitted.
We are sorry to hear of your experience and would like to find out more. Could you please email further detail to socialmedia@savills.com so we can investigate?

Ellis and Savills were simply incredible
Working with Ellis and the team at Savills was an incredible experience. Selling a home in the UK when we are living in Sydney, was stressful at times not being close by and on the right time zone. Having Ellis overseeing everything for us was incredible and we felt so confident with the entire process we couldnβt recommend her or Savills more highly. So professional and efficient and the perfect representative for our beautiful home. We felt in very safe hands which was very comforting from the other side of the world.
Thank you, James & Natalie, it was our pleasure. We know that selling house can be a difficult time so itβs great to hear that we made it that little bit smoother for you.Regards,Ellis

I had just a week to move into a rented property. Jodie and the team at Beaconsfield-Lettings did an incredible job, including working out of normal office hours, to get all the paperwork done. Just a week after viewing the property, I had moved. Thank you Jodie for your fabulous support!

Jodie & Porsha at the Beaconsfeild Office made our move so easy, really grateful to have had both of there support as it was our first time into renting. They were super quick to process everything, and came back to us instantly. The moving process can be extremely stressful, but Jodie made it so smooth and simple for us. Thank you both for your help, would highly recommend!
Dear Evie, thank you for the 5* rating and positive feedback for both Jodie and Porsha in our Beaconsfield Lettings team. Lovely to read how they helped you make the smooth transition into your new home. Thank you Gordon Hood Lettings Regional Head

New review following emptying of property (1 star): The letting agents harassed me a lot during the end of tenancy process and took advantage of the fact that I have relocated overseas and a (conveyancing) law firm run by a friend was authorised to have this property vacated and professionally cleaned for me. In the end, they took me around in circles and would not return my deposit of Β£1096, and 2 months later came up with a spreadsheet with claiming that they are entitled to retain the full deposit and I should pay them another Β£45 on top. I mentioned I will file a dispute with TDS scheme. They then filed a dispute themselves. I responded to this dispute and eventually TDS decided to refund me at least 50% of my deposit. Fortunately, I had some photo and video evidence shared with me by the law firm and some previous evidence of the property being well maintained during use, but as I was not in the country, I could only do so much from abroad. Some of the claims they have made are things such as 'missing manuals', i.e. their own file with information on the property - and valued these printouts at Β£40, for instance - as a matter of common sense, I had limited baggage allowance and would not carry their apartment file with me. The law firm does not benefit from their papers either! Either way, multiple discrepancies of these sort were raised with the TDS team, and that is what was concluded based on the evidence I could provide - this clearly proved that the letting agents made these numbers up. Furthermore, the property was also entered into without issuing a notice to the lawyer nor to me, and I was still the official tenant at this time (it was not handed back over). When I questioned this, I was informed over the phone by one of the agents' team members that they are sorry and they assumed that it is okay for them to enter and get furniture measurements for the future tenants without taking consent from me or the lawyer. The Savills team members handling matters at this time were: Rhea Cyrus and Lily Nicholaou. Miss Cyrus has been very brash with her dealings with both, me and the firm, and Miss Nicholaou is polite; however, I do not appreciate the reason she gave as to why the property was entered without consent / notice although I do realise that Miss Cyrus was the one calling the shots. Despite being overseas, and being treated covid penumonia at the time in and out of hospital, I did my absolute best to accommodate the agency. The lawyer in charge of the vacating in the UK was also pregnant and in and out of A&E and Miss Cyrus was extremely ruthless and the contract was breached by entry into the property without notice. Whilst everything seemed pretty rosy when I first rented this property, I just thought I should update my experience as this is not about the finances, but rather about the ethics :) I have previously rented with other agents within the same radius as well, but no such problems have occurred; they have always provided me with a good reference as well and deposit has always been returned in full. I would be careful with Savills. Just hoping others do not have to go through such a negative experience, hence I have taken the time to share my experience at length. Good luck with your hunt! :) My previous review over one year back (5 stars): Excellent service and a very professional team that assisted me recently. Miss Jodie Simpson went an extra mile to ensure that the necessary procedures were completed within a reasonable timeframe. I also received regular updates from Miss Claire Pincott and Mr. Daniel Spratley during Miss Simpson's occasional absence. Very efficient, committed and pleasant team. A massive thank you to this lovely team for all their hard work!NegativeResponsiveness, Quality, Professionalism, Value

Unlike some agents, Chris's initial assessment was honest, frank (but polite) and entirely accurate. He demonstrated good local knowledge and recommended a sound pricing and marketing strategy. From that point the entire team were highly professional and a pleasure to work with, particularly Richard who was the primary contact. He was always available, was pro-active with progress reports and did a great job as liaison between buyer and seller. Savills are not cheap but at the mid-top end of the market are worth every pennyPositiveResponsiveness, Quality, Professionalism, Value

Jodie Simpson has been absolutely amazing from the first initial viewing through to the references, contracts and even helping me with the alarm! Iβve had experiences with previous estate agents where Iβd been left to feel completely in the dark. However, Iβve got nothing but positive feedback for Jodie and Amber and the Beaconsfield lettings office. Moving house is a stressful time and they made me feel like everything was moving forwards and in hand. Thank you so much, I love my new home!
Dear Emma, thank you for providing your positive comments following your experience with our Lettings team in Beaconsfield, in particular both Jodie and Amber. We all hope you have settled in well to you new home. Thank you Gordon Hood Head of Home Counties Lettings

Lack of integrity and competence
There was very little factually accurate information that the Savills agent shared during the sales process from the kind of building, location of the car park through to what the service charge covered. They donβt provide the essential materials but expect you read every detail of their marketing brochures which the agent herself lacked knowledge - no value in dealing with the agent and whatβs the purpose if their expectation is to read in detail the marketing material. A commission not earned for lacking the requisite skills and knowledge to make an honest sale. Since when did marketing material become the most important documentation taking precedence over what the agent communicates. They are bound by a code of ethics and speaking to the property ombudsman makes the standards clear yet they get away with not demonstrating the standards including using confidential client information inappropriately. Very disappointing and itβs a poor decision to engage them or trust anything the agent communicates especially when youβre forced to work through them as a sole agent as some developers insist. An all round unpleasant experience with defensiveness, a lack of analysis, rigour and zero accountability for any of their words and actions.
We are very sorry to hear about your experience and thank you for bringing it to our attention.Weβre keen to find out exactly what has happened so if youβd like to please provide further detail by emailing socialmedia@savills.com so we can investigate.

DO NOT USE "Greedy Sales Reps & Lairs"
Do not use. Unless you get everything on paper/email from them. And I mean everything as their representatives will try anything to get a sale with false promises and late lie about it ever been mentioned or offered. Have witnesses and log everything. Do not take the name as they are professionals many of representatives keen to get sales. That is their goal not the customer. My statement maybe very strong but I have proof and now have to undertake a complaints from wasting my time and energy whilst had to incur costs on sale that was a lie.
We are sorry to hear you are unhappy with our service and would like the opportunity to provide a resolution. Please email further details to socialmedia@savills.com so we can investigate.

Best lettings agent experience
Yesterday, myself and my housemate had been doing a long day of unsuccessful viewings. After feeling very defeated, I got a call from Savills where I spoke with Nikita. It was almost 6pm and she offered to let us view a property around the corner to where we currently were. We loved the house so much and put in an offer straight away!!If it wasn't for Nikita being so lovely and accommodating we wouldn't have had the chance to see this property and get an offer in, in the nick of time.Thank you so much Nikita!!
We are very happy to have helped you, thank you for the lovely review and wish you all the best in your new home!Regards,Nikita
