GoogleOur experience with Hamptons was extremely poor. We found a flat in their website and organised a viewing. He agent said it was a great flat and we would be the first ones to see it. As we had to rent a car and travel for 6 hours with our 2 years old. It was important to be the first ones to see the promised great property as we make a great effort to get there. Something we made the agent aware of and as she said “it’s a great property and you would the first ones to visit, I guarantee you”. Once we arrived to the property, we were not the first ones, just one more in their list. The property was in extremely poor conditions, completely different from the pictures. I just can’t believe someone can do this to a family, to a little child who was 6 hours in a car. The expenses of the trip, just to be able to cover a commission. It makes you lost faith in humanity. And this it’s main to be one of the best agencies. As in any business all comes down to people.

Intuitive and with excellent communication skills, we are very impressed at her profiling the right clients for us - and she also ensures that the tenant is well served by the landlord in being so rigorous on compliance. GoogleWhat a dream of a sale. Totally stress free and on rails. Beautifully facilitated by the Friendly team at the Bath office. Really friendly, yet so professional and knowledgeable about the local market. Hamptons were recommended to us by our neighbour. I'm so glad they were. I live my life based upon recommendations and Hamptons are a great example of why I do. Our house sold in approx 8 working days! It was marketed in a way that we had viewings queuing up, however they were scheduled in groups as to not disturb us, the residents. 2 offers at full asking price and we got to exchange in 4 weeks. BAM. Thank you all, so so much.

We’ve been using Hamptons to manage our two properties in the Bath area for the last 15 years or so as we work overseas. After a slightly patchy start with some less capable managers, Rebecca Hitchman has cemented their service at a solid five stars. Professional, responsive, smart and efficient, she is everything you’d want in a property manager. The back office work, contract preparations, accounting, etc has all been excellent - a huge relief when so far away…

I think we currently have a far from uncomplaining tenant in my flat. In my opinion, she has been dealt with very well given the somewhat wide arc of her criticisms and demands. Whilst these complaints about noise in the vicinity might be very reasonable were the flat in the countryside, I may not be alone in thinking them not entirely well-grounded in Knightsbridge.

This is a review focusing mainly on the property management aspect. We have recently switched to Hamptons after a very poor experience with our previous management agent (chestertons). Having a good property manager that cares and is reactive and responsive has been unfortunately very rare from our experience. Yet it is so important to make landlords feel comfortable that their property is in good hands, and for tenants to feel comfortable in their home. Luckily we've been assigned Nicole D. who so far has ticked all the above boxes. Responsive, courteous and seeking good and swift solutions. So far due to this positive (albeit short) experience with Nicole we give hamptons high recommendation and will provider further reviews as time passes and we have more extensive experience with them. Good start, keep it up.

I was a tenant and am still awaiting my tenants deposit after a month. Appalling excuses for delays and slippery staff. Promised payment (again and again) by and nothing. Had to take out grievance with Tenant Deposit Scheme, which means they can keep money for another 6 weeks. BEWARE
