Excellent Service

The experience we had with Sansome & George was entirely positive. From the initial valuation through to completion, Sansome & George delivered as expected and promised. David's valuation, despite a) being significantly higher than that from 2 other agents and b) my slight scepticism :-D , proved to be accurate and we accepted an offer just below the original marketing price. This shows David knows his market, the potential, and that he has faith in his and his team's ability to achieve a good sale price. Furthermore, within days of our property being placed on the market, we had a stream of people (I think 12 viewings) on the opening weekend followed by several more in the following days. This resulted in no less than 3 offers within 2 weeks of placing our home on the market. The viewings were hosted promptly, professionally and enthusiastically by the team and the feedback post-viewing was prompt and comprehensive. I was also impressed with the 'after-sales' service where the team kept their eye on the ball, monitoring and gently nudging the slow, 'COVID-afflicted' process from Offer Acceptance through to Exchange and Completion. I don't normally like to single-out individuals from a team effort, but I would in particular like to give a special mention to Lizzie, who went above and beyond, trying to mitigate what became a vacuum of communication between the legal representatives and their respective clients. At times, I felt it would be easier to contact a primitive lifeform lurking in the deepest ocean abyss, than it was to get an update on the conveyancing....but Lizzie rolled up her sleeves, dug in, and made persistent calls that I'm sure added some much needed momentum to proceedings. Thanks to everyone at Sansome & George. A job very well done.

I would highly recommend Samsone & George. We had a few issues at the beginning of the process but they were quickly identified and resolved by David Samsone who was a consulate professional throughout. Nicky was the member of David's team that sold the house for us, and she was superb. I was exceptionally impressed when she first came round to see the house, as she asked all of the right questions and took a real interest in the house and the sale. Not worth one star,

Not worth one star, throughout the time of living in a property managed by Samsung and george they caused nothing but distress to me and my partner. Having to live in a house that is falling apart around us bath and shower was un useable to the point I was having to go to family members every night just to shower!, toilet was broken which put me in hospital (7 weeks after a total hip replacement), back fence had fallen down and was down for about 6 months I could list alot more! Never getting back to your emails or phone calls and pretty much laughing at the fact I was stuck in the house due to contract. Finally I was able to leave but 2 days before giving the keys back I went back to the property to do my final checks to realise some of my belongings were missing with no sign of break in entry. It could only be this company as it's only myself and Samsung and george that have keys, I had not given consent for them to enter my property. When reporting my findings to Samsung and george I got nothing but abuse, denial and threatening behaviour. Save your time and money people.

The worst estate agents I have ever dealt with! We had to constantly call/email because the person we needed to speak was conveniently always out! Never called back. If they did call they would not leave a message and would not answer when we tried to return calls. They would then send threatening emails saying they would advise the vendors to put the house back on the market after we had already responded tried to contact them to resolve the query, and we had already paid for surveys and instructed solicitors. On the day of completion our solicitors called to say they had told the estate agents to release the keys. When I called they said they couldn’t because the person dealing with was out!!! They made the whole process far more stressful than it ever needed to be! Avoid these at all costs!! Extremely unprofessional.

If you are looking for one of the worst Agents in Hampshire who do the following, Sansome & George are the one’s for you: • Lie about valuations to win business • Terribly slow at listing property, having to be chased numerous times • Not financial check potential buyers correctly, so you lose sales • Hide behind emails with any bad news, sending them out of hours meaning you’re unable to discuss issues • Lie about how RightMove works forcing de-valuation to make their job easier • Get passed around 3 different agents at S&G, as none were good enough at their jobs to finish what they started • Initiating “Race to survey” with potential buyers which is not a practice that should be used • The Managing Director couldn’t have cared less about the sale, and was incredibly unhelpful • No sales progression team, with all leg work being done by myself, with numerous emails/calls ignored & resorting to dealing with buyers direct as they wouldn’t assist • Seemingly breaking GDPR on two occasions • Solicitor & other Estate Agents in chain being unable to get hold of anyone at S&G at a crucial part of the process • Our Solicitor & another Estate Agent in chain asking, and I quote… “at what point are Sansome & George going to start earning their commission” The 6 month process of having to deal with this lot, has been a nightmare from start to finish. You go down the complaint procedure, and the Managing Director (laughable he has that title) refuses to accept any blame, seemingly desperate for the small amount of commission they were paid (not earned). Thank god the saga is finally over & I’ll never have to deal with this shocking company again. I can’t imagine many things more painful than dealing with this lot. No doubt someone at S&G will comment on this. Ignore them as they’re just trying to save face. Avoid at all cost.
