GoogleAvoid Hunter Realty and at all costs, completely unprofessional and misleading.
I recently dealt with Hunter Realty (operated via D Estate Agent Ltd) during my relocation from Birmingham to London. After viewing a property and being assured it was available, I paid the holding deposit and submitted all documents within 24 hours. I was told the property was now off the market, and referencing would take a couple of days.
Instead, I was met with two weeks of silence, vague updates, and stalling. The listing stayed live online even after I was told it was removed. Eventually, I was told the landlord had actually accepted another offer a day before my deposit was taken, meaning the flat was never genuinely available to me.
This was handled by an agent named Ramy, and I also contacted Bin He (Director) who offered no resolution and failed to take responsibility. I have screenshots of these exchanges, which clearly show the lack of transparency and disregard for my time, money, and housing situation.
I am now chasing my deposit and filing complaints with The Property Ombudsman, Trading Standards, and OpenRent, where the listing originally appeared.
🚨 If you value your time, money, and peace of mind, do not deal with this agency. This experience has been deeply stressful and could have left me without accommodation. Total lack of professionalism and accountability.

GoogleBe aware of scam! Unethical and unprofessional letting agency
I’ve had a very disappointing experience with this agency. They still haven’t returned my property deposit even after four months since I moved out, constantly making excuses and delaying the process. Communication is extremely poor, they rarely respond to calls or emails and avoid taking responsibility.
During my tenancy, they also ignored repeated repair requests for serious issues like water leakage and no hot water during winter. Overall, this agency has shown no professionalism or care for tenants. I strongly advise others to avoid them and choose a more trustworthy letting agency.

GoogleHunter Realty Hendon: AVOID AT ALL COSTS, the most useless agency I’ve ever dealt with.
Last year I rented through them and the flat was a disaster: persistent damp, broken boiler, no hot water for weeks. Every complaint ignored.
Landlord and broker refused to return my deposit without any justification. The manager barely speaks English and every attempt to communicate was a total waste of time.
Unprofessional, dishonest, and incompetent. Do yourself a favor, go anywhere else.

After paying a holding deposit, I discovered the property they tried to rent me was an illegal sublet of a housing association flat. This is outright fraud.
The manager, Richard, is extremely dishonest and refuses to deal with things legitimately. They clearly have no respect for the law or their clients.
I am now pursuing a chargeback with my bank after wasting valuable time and energy.
Sarah, the agent, was friendly but totally clueless, clearly being used by a very shady manager. This agency is dodgy, unprofessional, and not to be trusted.

They then refused to return the full deposit without any proper explanation. Communication was poor and unprofessional throughout. Definitely not recommended.
