I have been a Dexters' landlord for eight years and have no complaints. My current Property Manager, Tia Blackmore-Saunders, has been particularly helpful. When making recommendations for repairs or renewals she is always ready to explain and discuss them with me and, once agreed, keeps track to make sure they are satisfactorily completed.

Not very happy

I’ve had several experiences with Dexters whilst looking for a flat to buy in London and I can’t say any of them have been a good experience. The first occasion I was lied to from two of the Madia Vale employees. A girl who worked there and then the manager.The flat I made an offer on was about to go through conveyancing, when I found out from a neighbour that the flat had been flooded. When i asked the estate agent she said that she knew nothing of it. I spoke with the manager as to why she wasn’t aware it, (legally I have a right to know before buying) the manager said that she did tell me!We went back and throw but the manager insisted she had told me it had been flooded before making my offer and then he said that he would of told me in the end anyway!The 2nd occasion, was when I was interested in another flat, this time putting an offer on it when an offer had already been accepted and going through conveyancing. I eventually found a lovely flat through another estate agent. The agent who sold it to me used to work at Dexters, so I told him my dealings and he said the reason he left Dexters was because he was told to consistently lie to customers to get a sale, and that was his reason for leaving, He said he doesn't make as much money working for them but he didn’t want the stress of going into work lying to customers every day.Unfortunately they are deceptive and give estate agents a bad name! Watch out if you have any dealings with them. Not all estate agents are like this but for some reason the dealings I've had with Dexters have mostly been dishonest.

They are just liars. I called few times that I would like to view a property and every time they gave me different reason why I can't view it: first they told me someone made offer is no longer available. After few days the ad was still on I called and they said the owner is outside of London, I asked them can they get the keys and show me 2-3 days later, they said will call me back. Of course they didn't. I called them 3 days later and they said doing working on the property, can't be viewed for couple of weeks. Disappointed!!!!!NegativeProfessionalism
