After being told to complete the referencing ourselves, we called to raise the issue and were then offered assistance. We received no updates for several days, only to find out the application had not passed. Towards the end, it became clear I had passed the checks and we knew my partner likely would not due to credit issues, yet we were still advised to pay. We would have appreciated honesty and transparency from the start.
