My special thanks to Glen, Lauren not forgetting the Landlord. They made me feel at home. I will definitely rent with them again in future. I do not hesitate to recommend other people to rent with them.

GoogleAVOID AT ALL COSTS- myself and my partner rented from this awful estate agents in January 2022 in the first weekend we had numerous problems from broken toilet to faulty kitchen sink as time went on more and more faults came to light the boiler we was lucky to get one shower a day. There was mould in the en suite bathroom again was told to just wipe and it would clear up. SAM HOLDEN was our property manager who was absolutely useless the amount of times we reported anti social behaviour in the block of flats and repairs he never seemed in a rush to get any of the repairs done. We reported that the communal doors to get in and out of the block of flats were broken due to young youths breaking into the communal area to smoke weed and deal drugs etc. we first reported the doors in April 2022 and they only just got replaced in march 2023 of which one door still don’t even lock even though the whole door has been replaced. We were given a section 21 and told that the landlord wanted us out but there was no reason for it however within 24 hours of us handing the keys back they property was back up on Rightmove to be rented out again for even more money than what we was originally paying. They simply just want to rip people off their money with no care or compassion the effect that their actions may have one someone’s health.

GoogleUntrustworthy Letting Agency Strongly Avoid I am suing Stepping Stones Letting after they caused my family especially my 4-year-old daughter emotional distress and made us homeless. ( Thank your to existing landlord who allowed us to stay for another a month and find new home) They promised the property at 47 Yarrow Road would be professionally cleaned before move-in, but failed to provide any proof (no invoice, no certificate, nothing). When their lie was exposed, instead of fixing the issue, they cancelled our tenancy less than 24 hours before we were supposed to move in. upon inspecting the house prior to move, entire house was dirty, there were chips on the wall, hair here and there, windows were not cleaned, toilet was dirty. Their staff also agreed that property is dirty but the owner of stepping stone ignored her feedback. This is not an isolated case just look at other tenant reviews. The director runs the agency in a bullying and dishonest manner. It feels more like dealing with a mafia boss than a professional agent. If you're looking for safety, transparency, or basic decency, stay away from Stepping Stones Letting Ltd. They will waste your time, money, and peace of mind. The owner of this company is inhuman , money minded and look at the reputation online, they eat people deposit unreasonably. Stay away from them

GoogleGreat experience with Stepping Stones. Moving in was well organised, as was moving out - with a pre inspection scheduled to avoid any surprises. I lived in the property for just over 2 years, and in that time Lauren made a great property manager with most issues sorted swiftly and professionally. Would happily let from them again.

GoogleI've been with Stepping Stones for 2 years and never had a problem with them. If anything was wrong, they promptly delt with it. There were no issues with getting my deposit back. Kieran as my Property Manager was very helpfull and fair. I would recomend this Letting Agency.

GoogleAVOID AT ALL COSTS, especially if you're not from the UK. We had a disgusting experience with the agent who showed us a property to rent in Banbury. Before even showing the house, he accused us money laundering , as the rent payer is paid in his home country - even though he lives in the UK, pays his taxes in the UK, has the right documentation (and could prove his foreign salary). We didn't even want to carry on with the viewing, but we had driven over two hours to get there because we're moving cities. The current tentant, also a foreigner, was inside and had asked for no photos (so values his privacy). The agent started pestering him with personal questions (where are you moving to? Why are you leaving the UK? Have you had enough of it here?). Apparently they didn't even let him know that a previous viewing was cancelled. This experience made clear that Stepping Stones is extremely unprofessional and the complete opposite of the values they claim to have on their website.
Dear Iain I am sorry to hear that you did not have a good experience with Stepping Stones. I am afraid that I cannot find you listed on our system so if you would like to email us and let me know which property you viewed I can investigate further. Sadly we now have to carry out some quite intrusive questioning of prospective tenants to comply with our Right to Rent and Anti Money Laundering checks but I am sorry if this was not explained to you at the time. It is Important that all of the regulations are explained to viewers to avoid raising the hopes of somebody who may not be able to meet the criteria required. We do not like anyone to feel that they have had anything but an exemplary service from Stepping Stones and so I would appreciate if you could provide me with more details so that I can look into this. GoogleI have rented a property through Stepping Stones for over a year and I cannot fault their service, whenever I have experienced a maintenance issue they have always been extremely quick with getting it resolved. Unfortunately I am having to leave the property and I needed it re let ASAP and within 3 hours of me handing in my notice, the team at Stepping Stones had relet the property. Both Lauren and Kieran have been amazing at managing the property and if you are looking for a lettings agent which provide the best service and who are accommodating and understanding of your needs then look no further- the best agents around!PositiveResponsiveness, Professionalism

Always really prompt, helped me get a few issues fixed at the property throughout my tenancy, made the start of tenancy really easy for me. Also super clear, friendly and thorough with checking out and ending the tenancy.

GoogleHonestly the best letting agent I have dealt with in the 6 years or so I've been renting in Oxfordshire and really couldn't recommend Stepping Stones highly enough. The process of setting up the tenancy was really straightforward and the contact during the tenancy was minimal (in a good way - a few inspections, nothing intrusive at all). They were always responsive via phone and email, generally getting at least an acknowledgement of the query on the same day and the check out process was really simple and very fair in terms of deposit return.
