I have recently purchased my first home via Howlands Estate Agents, and they could not have made the process any easier, despite some issues along the way which were out of their control. From my very first dealings with Howlands it was clear that they were not the stereotypical estate agents I had heard so much about. There was no pressure, no nonsense and no hard sell of the property I was interested in. James readily facilitated additional visits to the property after the sale had been agreed and nothing was too much trouble for him. I am extremely grateful for all of the help and support that was provided by Howlands in liaising between all parties, quickly clearing up and issues that arose along the way. James and Alan have been wonderful during a rather complicated sale of a house which had not been sold for over 70 years, so there were a lot of issues. They kept in touch at all times, ALWAYS answered the phone, and kept me up to date on all the proceedings. They were great at contacting both sides' solicitors, and keeping a handle on where we were in the process. Couldn’t ask for a better estate agent, it goes to show that working with a family business is preferable, rather than a big chain.
