GoogleAs a first time buyer, we have been searching for the right house for a while now and have came across a lot of estate agents and I can honestly say Colin Moran from property people is hands down the worst we have ever experienced. Firstly, he seemed totally disinterested in us from the beginning. He never contacted us on any further progress with other bidders, only for us to call him, saying "oh I'm still waiting on the underbidder", a week later. We clearly didn't matter. When we actually did get the offer accepted we asked for a second viewing from the property so we could get another check over. This seemed to be a difficult task for him and became very rude on the phone to us. Saying, "Why do you want another viewing for, the open viewing was enough, I don't think you are serious in this property". This became a red flag to me and my wife was very upset with his rudeness and unprofessionalism that we decided to have no business with him despite our interest in the property.

An interesting version of events. Fortunately, I have notes of all calls, appointments, and bids to show that you are inaccurate in your recollection and omit some critical points. You viewed the property on Saturday, 8th November, and placed your initial bid. If you recall, you were the last to leave the property as I spent a good bit of time chatting to you about the property, the area, your circumstances as first-time buyers and the suitability of the property for your first home (hardly the actions of someone disinterested). We spoke again on Wednesday, the 12th, and I informed you that several people were bidding and that I would be in touch once I had spoken to all of them. Due to the interest in the property, you were outbid and placed a further bid on 18th November; this was also outbid, and you placed a further bid on 20th November, which was accepted. I asked for your solicitor's details, but you said you didn't have one. I offered you the names and details of two solicitors.
You then arranged a follow-up viewing for Monday, 24th at 9:30 am. Your wife called on Friday and confirmed the appointment. On Monday, you did not turn up to the viewing and called the office later that day to say you had got "mixed up". I then rearranged the appointment for Saturday 29th with the owner facilitating the viewing, allowing you to speak directly and ask any questions about the property. I called you on Friday, 28th, to confirm your attendance and to ask whether you had appointed a solicitor. You informed me that you had not appointed a solicitor as you did not intend to proceed until your father had viewed the house. This was confusing, as you had agreed to the sale of the property. Yet, you were now informing me that your bid was subject to a further inspection by your father. You placed your initial bid on 8th November, and your final bid was accepted, in good faith, on 20th November. At no stage during this time did you stipulate that your offer was subject to your father's inspection. I would have gladly facilitated this before agreeing to the sale. When I put this to you, you said you were happy to proceed, but your wife wasn't; you had hoped to get the house for a lower price, then you withdrew your bid completely.
I would like to invite you to look at all the other reviews I have recieved from customers who have been very satisfied with the service recieved. It is clear to me that you were either attempting a tactic to renegotiate or, at best, ignorant of the bidding process for a property. My client was very disappointed with your conduct and agreed that this was not acting in good faith after agreeing on a property.

FacebookApplied for a home went and viewed it, got shortlisted one in three, was told the landlord was wanting more questions of all applications processed, chased the estate agent for those questions to be told that he got the go ahead to contact my references to let them know to be handy for the call.
Next day got a call, I was unsuccessful then I found out that my references hadn’t been contacted at all. My application was not processed fairly at all! Everything I was told would happen didn’t seems they knew who was getting the house . I have 3 children it wasn’t a want for me but a need. Nearly 2 weeks after the viewing I was chasing the estate agent for updates. When I challenged this I was told I was looking someone to blame, not good at responding , emails all ignored since, Won’t be using them again!

FacebookI would totally recommend property people to any young professional. I was a bit apprehensive doing a room rental but with property people I was shown plenty of nice properties when I contacted them for viewings. I found the right one for me and my budget and I fit into the house well. There was cleaning rota organised between the housemates and there was never any bother. I stayed for 10 months total and in that time had 2 sets of full occupancy of different people and I got on with everyone. If you wanted to keep yourself you could do so with no judgements and if you wanted to have a chat and get to know each other you could as well. I ended up making some great friends as well! When I needed any help or repairs done an email was swiftly replied to and everything was sorted. They were extremely accommodating during the first lock down as well so yeah couldn’t recommend enough! Thank you Niamh & Finbarr

FacebookWorst rental experience ever! So slow at responding to requests from day one. Daily contact had to be made and physical visits to the office to get any movement on anything to do with the house. There was a hole left in the roof for more than 5 months, the heating was broken for majority of the year and they swore it was fine. We were left without a washing machine for a month regardless of us constantly reminding them that it was broken. We complained about mold and nothing was done even though we had evidence of belongings being destroyed. To top it all off we were TOLD (not asked) we had to leave the property 4 days early and were given alternatives or opinion. We have now not occupied the property for 2 months and have still received no contact regarding returning our deposits again despite constant contact.

FacebookCouldn't recommend Property People more. First time moving out and was given the usual warnings about moving in with people I don't know. However it was the best decision I made. From the minute I submitted my application I was well taken care of. I was met by a lovely girl called Niamh who not only showed me the house I had applied for but also a few others in the area within my budget. The same day I made my mind up on the house I wanted and I haven't had an issue. The room was lovely, the other tennants are the best I could have asked for. We don't really have any issues in regards to anything going wrong in the house but when we have needed anything looked at those at Property People organised everything promptly. Huge thank you to all the staff at Property People for making my first time moving so seamlessly smooth!

I rented my Apt out for 6 years whilst I was abroad and they handled it for me with ease , finding decent tenants.
Repairs to the property were sorted with minimum fuss,quality workmanship and good value.
As a tenant they found me short term accommodation when I returned from overseas.
Again they delivered a second time when a house sale fell through recently after I had given notice at a rental and my family and I were nearly homeless.

FacebookWould give them 0 stars, we lived in a damp flat for a year and had problems with gas a lot, fire alarms going off for no reason, washing machine & fridge/ freezer had a lot other problems such as electric cables, shower was awful was sharp pipes stick out of the drain!?.. We left the house looking amazing we left lamps, pillows, throw overs etc and place was so clean compared to the dirt we had to move in to and clean ourselves when all was meant to be cleaned & re painted for us and they didn't give us our full deposit back when we had photos to proves of electric cables hanging out of walls which were live and awful state of flat we moved in to.. And staff are so unprofessional very cheeky and talk about flat mates against each other.. Only decent person in there is repair man Russell! I feel sorry for anyone renting of them!!

It was the worst renting experience ever - I was being lied to, my fault reports were being ignored, and at the end of the contract they tried to charge me completely unreasonable fees for cleaning even though I left the house in a much better state than it had been at the point of my moving in.
