GoogleSinead was absolutely amazing....When my estate agent and solicitors handling my sale where not communicating with me and prolonging the moving process, Sinead was always on hand to help move things along and give advice and guidance with our purchase. Thank you Sinead....we will definitely be coming to you for any future house moves.

GoogleWe bought our house with Ashton’s and due to the fantastic service, we used them recently when it came to selling our house. The photo’s were fantastic, easy to use app to confirm the viewings and so on and Sinead and the team gave us regular updates and were always available to answer any queries. The house sold quicker than we anticipated and that’s due to all the hard work behind the scenes. Now renting for a short time before we emigrate and Nicky from the St helens office is supporting us with that. All round fantastic team and service provided. Thank you all so much 😃

GoogleI would recommend Ashtons Estate Agents above any other, Sinead who dealt with the property went above and beyond, quite incredible to be fair. Many problems arose during this sale, one being my solicitor who in my opinion was completely hopeless....Sinead was amazing, she constantly kept me up to date via e-mail or phone, nothing was too much trouble. Exceptionally professional and knowledgeable, without Sineads guidance and help, l would have been quite lost. Sinead is excellent at her job and, an absolute fine asset to the company. I would recommend Ashtons and, would definitely use this agent again.

GoogleFantastic service from start to finish. After changing to Ashtons from another estate agent we felt Ashtons were working for us and provided feedback and kept us upto date at each step. So happy with the house we bought through them and would always get in touch to see what they might have on the books! Would defo get in touch with them should we ever decide to sell as well! GoogleI have recently used Ashton's for the sale of my property. From the outset I found the staff extremely helpful, friendly and supportive. Towards the end of the process, due to COVID restrictions and Solicitor delays one particular member of staff (Hannah) was brilliant. She took on enquiries which were not part of the sale process, kept me in the loop from the buyers side which undoubtedly assisted in the sale completing on time and allowing me to concentrate on the purchase of my new property. Having only had to use an estate agent once before and many years ago I have nothing but praise for Ashton's. I also ended up renting back my own property for a few months until my new one was ready to move in and Nicky again was really helpful in this process and made the last few weeks a lot more enjoyable and issue free for us. GoogleAs an estate agent myself, I had very high standards when it came the time for me to choose an agent to act on my behalf. My property was sold after an open house event after 5 days and achieved £5,000 over asking price. With the COVID-19 situation unfortunately this sale fell through. Ashtons are so proactive I had another viewer the same day and sold the property again the day after. It is now 4 weeks on and the property has completed and we are in our new home. Thanks to the team at Ashtons as without their pro activity we would never had sold our home. They answered any questions I had and went above and beyond at all times. I must mention the amazing Hannah McBride who is a pleasure to deal with and a credit to the company. Lewis was also fantastic and he kept everything together during COVID-19 and although his work load increased, his quality customer service and pro activity remained of extremely high quality. GoogleHannah and the team at Ashtons have been amazing. I’m a first time buyer and had no experience whatsoever with looking for and viewing houses. The time came and I did make an offer on a property that was accepted. Hannah was great explaining next steps etc and organising documents. Unfortunately the vendors dropped out (personal circumstances) and we had to start looking again. All the team at the Ashton branch knew exactly what I was looking for and as soon as properties were becoming available they had me booked in for viewings. I would highly recommend Ashtons for buying or selling. They are really proactive and work with you to help find your dream property always sending new ads checking you haven’t missed anything, also showing properties they know have potential to be the one you want if only you go and look!

The most unpleasant experience I have ever had with an estate agent. This once market leader has become the worst estate agent in York and it is all down to the attitude of the front line staff. Staff couldn't even answer the phone in a professional manor, never once got back to me and when chased they were rude on the phone. When questioned about their commitment to their responsibilities they became arrogant, even more rude and passive aggressive. If you ever have need of an estate agent, steer clear of these guys, they are the worst.

GoogleAshtons were great throughout the whole selling process, from the initial valuation right to the end. The staff were always on hand to offer advice, especially after our buyer pulled out without our knowledge. We mainly dealt with Hannah and Joanne and both were really helpful and patient and totally understand our concerns. Couldn't fault them and would recommend them to friends and family.

GoogleExcellent and friendly service. From the initial phone call to book a viewing all the way through to phoning to ask when I could collect the keys Ashtons were brilliant. Me and my partner had the pleasure of meeting Sinead. With us being first time buyers we didn’t fully understand the process and there was quite a lot of nerves and anxiety, but after a few phone calls with Sinead everything felt under control. The entire process was faultless on Ashtons side, Sinead and the rest of teams ability to keep us informed on any movement was fantastic and contributed massively to helping us stay calm and feel in control.
