I went in to your move office in ashford kent to get some information on renting and how it works with paying the electric, water, heating and taxes etc as i havent rented in uk before, (british born, left for 20years) I met with Jan and she was so helpful, kind and couldnt do enough to help me, showed me how i can find out the information i needed when i got home so i can look it up in my own time. Darren came round to our property and sat with us to discuss the market, value of our property, fees and gave other useful advice. After confirming multiple times that the landlord was happy with a short six month tenancy with payment up front, we viewed the property and then waited two weeks for them to tell us they are not happy with a six month tendency. We cancelled other viewings based on them saying they want to get the ball moving fast. Didnt even let us know they landlord wasnt happy, we had to chase them. Being a landlord ourselves we would not be happy with them managing our property and being a tenant not being kept up to date is not acceptable.
