I wanted to put in writing how grateful we are to Linda Christopher at the Gorey branch of Sherry Fitzgerald. When we set out on our home buying journey I was poorly prepared for what a difficult and stressful thing to do it can be. The one person that has stood out throughout the whole process is Linda. Her kindness, patience and most of all her willingness to offer her expertise to all aspects of the home buying process has been invaluable, and without her I would have almost given up! I’ve lost count of the number of times she has given clarity to what would have otherwise been an issue I had no understanding of. And that goes far beyond her role as an auctioneer. As an investor,developer and home owner I am hugely impressed by Liz Ryan of Sherry Fitzgerald's Phibsborough branch. I am more knowledgeable than most about the property market so can speak with experience and say that she is one of the best agents in the city. Liz is honest, professional, incisive, informative and empathic. She has a great knowledge of the Dublin 7 market. She offers no false hopes in order to get the business and is spot on in her predictions. She appeals to both buyers and sellers. As a seller I am impressed at how well she relates to buyers, always keeping all bidders on board, as often the highest bidder may pull out. When it happened in my case Liz assured me in her calm manner that it wasn't going to be an issue. I was especially impressed by the sensitivity Liz showed in selling the family home after my mother's death. Liz has handled two sales for me and I would have no hesitation in recommending her highly.

Horrible experience renting with them

Horrible experience renting with them. I visited the apartment that had faulty balcony door, which they said would be fixed before I move in. It was not fixed, the house was extremely dirty with food residue in the fridge, many light bulbs not working (they fixed it after a week). Right now, more than 2 weeks after moving in, the balcony door is still not fixed. I’ll never rent with them again.

I would highly recommend Sherry Fitzgerald to anyone buying or selling a home. We are first time buyers and came to view this house after a bad experience from another estate agent, I came to believe that estate agents are not to be trusted but I was very wrong. Robert was honest, trustworthy, pleasant and helpful from the very start. On our very first viewing he didn't just show us "a house" he showed us a dream "our home" and opened up the potential of what the house could be and we were honestly hooked straight away. Through the whole process, both Robert and Ciara were extremely helpful, Ciara answered our questions and concerns straight away and both offered advice. We had what I thought was an impossible deadline to drawdown our mortgage before interest rates increased and with the diligence of Ciara, Robert and the team we made this happen. We initially lost out on our purchase but when the buyers pulled out, Sherry Fitz came back to us and helped us finalise the purchase for which we are most grateful. Long-Term Tenants - Excellent Service

We were tenants of a Sherry Fitz property for almost 7 years, and were always happy with how they handled our inquiries. They were also very helpful when it came to us moving out, and accommodated us when we needed to change the date. SF also returned our deposit promptly. Incidentally, Paul, who was responsible for conducting the intermittent inspections, was an absolute delight!
