We purchased a house in Arbroath and few years ago from Connelly and Yeoman and wanted to now sell. I live in the USA and my co-owner in Cyprus, but we are both British. I called Connelly and Yeoman and asked if they would like to help sell the property, The lady was very off handed and told me that they would not be able to help unless both of the co-owners went to the Connelly and Yeoman office in Arbroath. I explained this was un-realistic as we live overseas, but we could easily complete the AML requirements and of course we had purchased the house from them as well, so they would have a file and details of us both. She was unable to be flexible so we were forced to go to another firm to help us. We went to Thorntons, they assisted with the sale and conveyancing very efficiently. The solicitor at Thorntons said that he finds in over 50% of cases that clients complete the AML without visiting the office, both buyers and sellers. I can only assume that Connelly and Yeoman are more of a local firm.

These people claim to be professionals in the property market, far from it, they are amatures with a could not be bothered attitude, having taken my money they have failed to supply me with goods and services of a satisfactory standard, in fact way below a satisfactory standard, I now have to pursue them for return of my payment,

Sorry don't rate them bought a property when they were the selling agent and lost 2 more before it due to them not updating our solicitors which might have cost their clients higher returns 3 years ago.
