I recently complete the purchase of a property listed by Mark and am so glad they were the agents involved! The seller struggled to get all the relevant information together, but Claire went above and beyond to keep the deal moving. I've bought and sold a few properties and have to say I've never encountered such diligent, friendly and proactive agents. Had the most fantastic service and experience of Marc Buchanan Property Group. Ashleigh Tunstall provided the most brilliant customer service and liaison between she and I and between the vendor and I, which it made complete sense to do, with both of our agreement. Just made everything so easy and she got back to me almost immediately- even messaging and calling me from her holiday in Tunisia to make sure nothing got held up. I can’t thank or praise her enough. Would give 0 if I could. Been to two viewings, and both apartment blocks had scaffolding all over them - this was never mentioned in the property listing, on the phone or via email. There was no knowledge of when this scaffolding would be taken down. There was no knowledge on the council tax band. Absolutely should be illegal to advertise a building as though it has no scaffolding on - scaffolding stops the balcony’s/ windows from being in use & makes the apartment smell horrendous. Me and a friend travelled for over 2 hours, spent over £30 on 2 separate occasions for viewings and both times it has been a massive disappointment. Do better.

Consistently excellent from start to finish I’ve worked with Mark before when buying, so I knew I was in good hands, but selling with him (and Holly) was just as good. From the valuation through to getting it on the market, everything felt really straightforward and easy. The photos and video were honestly amazing, so good they nearly made me question why I was even selling in the first place. The house sold in under a week, which says it all really. Decent enough during the tenancy, but the end-of-tenancy experience was very poor. Deposit return took six weeks. Cleaning and gardening works charged, which we disagreed with, happened in the days immediately before new tenants moved in, looked far more like turnover prep than remediation of anything we left behind. Communications about the DPS submission were inconsistent from one day to the next. We accepted the deductions in the end only because formal adjudication wasn't worth the hassle for a few hundred pounds.
