Professional, transparent and efficient

I sold my house with CTF. Chris was my point of contact and he was very personable, professional and transparent in all our dealings. I met with 4 agencies initially and felt that Chris and the company were the best choice to help me sell my house. They proved me right. I live abroad and Chris was very good at keeping me regularly updated with any developments. I always felt I could get in touch whenever needed and actually talk to a person, not an answer machine, that meant a lot. Once a buyer was found, the sale went through very quickly and painlessly. I was very satisfied with the service I received from start to finish. I was a landlord before selling and have dealt with other agencies in the area which I would not recommend and did not trust to sell my house. However, I wholeheartedly would recommend Clee Tompkinson Francis. Excellent service. Thank you.

Great service

My sister and I had a very good experience with CTF. Problems came up along the way, not least a fire at the property which seriously held things up. However Chris and his team were extremely helpful and reliable at all times. All queries , no matter how small were attended too either by phone or email promptly.The many viewings were always conducted in a friendly and professional manner. I can honestly say that I was totally satisfied with the service provided and would recommend the Walter Rd branch of CTF to anyone.

Fantastic local estate agents, would highly recommend Abu and Sian have helped with every query every step of the way. Together the team sold my property for more than any other local agent estimated the sale price. The team even went the extra mile and retrieved personal documents of mine from the property that were left behind. Through the entire sales process the staff at Clee were always available and eager to help. I'll happily refer family and friends to them, and will use them as an agent myself in the future.

Would not recommend them to anyone!

We had their Manager from Carmarthen Branch to give a market appraisal today. What a waste of time! Showed him round all the vast, very substantial improvements carried out since buying our house five year ago - to make it a truly eye catching smallish equestrian property for a growing family not seen anywhere in this area ready to move in ! His valuation was ridiculous and laughable! Out of courtesy, didn’t show him the door, instead told him politely the subject is closed. Did he stop? No! Carried on with his verbal diarrhoea! He is a “know all” man, by far the worst we had ever come across, having moved house 12 times across the South East and Wales !

I was really impressed with the speed at which they sold my house.

I was really impressed with the customer service of provided by Clee Tomkinson Francis. They gave me an estimate on the sale of my house and they were spot on. The whole experience was very quick and efficient. Even I was surprised how quickly they sold my house and how easy they made the whole experience for me. In particular, Rhys Thomas deserves a shout out for his excellent service. He was able to answer all my queries and took the hassle out of selling my house.

I put my house up for sale with this company last summer 20024. The sales agent's and all staff I dealt with were perfectly pleasant and helpful and the brochure etc all OK . They gave feedback after each viewing. However they did not attempt to go above and beyond on anything. Although they were aware I was also looking for a house in the local area they never drew my attention to suitable houses that THEY had for sale. I only found out if they had new houses with them as I have alerts on Zoopla etc After 3 months of viewings but no offers they never suggested a conversation about lowering the price or any improvement's etc I understand that I could have also pushed this further also and queried it and maybe I should have ?.But what was I paying for ? I got the impression this company are just coasting and doing what they have always done. They done nothing special for me and I terminated my contract as soon as I could. They need to revisit their sales model

Brilliant, personal service

We went with CTF to sell our property because their assessment of the property value seemed to be grounded in good understanding of the local economy. Turns out they were spot on and the property sold at the full asking price within a couple of weeks. While we were going through the selling process, the team were always there to help in any way they could. The whole team were always able to access information about the status of the sale so anyone we spoke to could answer our questions or help move things forward. Any communication between ourselves and the buyers was passed on immediately so there were no delays. Absolutely brilliant service all round! Highly recommended.

Poor customer service

Me and my girlfriend viewed a property in whitland, Carmarthenshire and was not inform at the viewing that there was a holding fee of £100. The estate agent contacted my girlfriend whilst we were dealing with family issues, stating that she had to pay £100, as I was in work she was unsure of what to do and paid the £100. Due to family circamstances we were unable to to move to this property, we have received abysmal customer service throughout the process and money has not been refunded. I would also like to note that we have only dealt with one person, during the viewing of the property and the entire process has been through an online website that seems to be faulty.

I have been renting a property…

I have been renting a property from clee thompson and francis for 9 months.When we moved in we had flooding after 2 days.We have had to have builders back and fore many times in the 9 months as well as inspections etc.This house as been the worst house i have ever private rented.We have had 9 months of hell.The house will be prohibited in the next 2 weeks as enviromental health as been here twice and said today it will be prohibited.The girls have done the best they can for us,but i do believe they should be checking the properties out a lot more before renting them to families such as us.My daughter suffers feom asthma and we should never have been allowed to rent this in the first place.Although we have an agreement for the last few months not to pay the rent, and some other months in between we have had discounted rent.We always had to pay the agency fee.A good company wouldn't taken that in the stste this house is in. I would never rent from Clee thompson and francis or deal with them in anyway again.Even the girls working there inspecting the property couldn't apologise enough.I just don't feel on a whole the company as done enough.

Travelled 6 hours to view a house only…

Travelled 6 hours to view a house only to recieve a txt message to let me know due to sickness (on a saturday morning) that our viewings had been cancelled. Tried calling the office several times - no answer! They called me monday morning to see if we could pop back to view the houses...'pop 6 hours back' when I told them that we lived so far and couldn't because of the time it takes and told them I wasn't happy about this - she didn't even apologise! I was informed that only 1 member of staff works on a saturday...on the busiest day of the week? Absolute joke! Zero attention to detail, zero response when you call or email the office! Dreadful experience!
