GoogleWe instructed Hunters estate agent to sell our parents house after initially interviewing a few other estate agents. Hunters came prepared, they had done their homework and provided a very strong and professional case. That professionalism continued throughout the sales process. They were very proactive, very organised and took care of everything. We were extremely pleased with them and would highly recommend them.

TrustpilotHunters is a joke
I have had experience with Hunters in the past on multiple occasions. I am disappointed everytime from their lack of felixibility. For example if you're trying to rent and your annual income matches but does not excees what is expected by Hunters then they will abruptly cut you off. Also horrible customer service by the staff and do not know what they are doing. On a flat i called twice one staff member told me i had to satisfy an income of 29.000 pounds and another staff member told me i had to exceed 30.000 wich makes me doubt their honesty. I have had much better experiences with other agencies. Do not reccomend.

GoogleProfessional and thorough throughout from initial meeting to end. Made it a very slick process with everything promised delivered. Niral and Nikki worked as a seamless team proactively linking to buyers, sellers and conveyancers throughout to ensure things kept moving and all were regularly informed. From the start were right on game with very good local market knowledge and approach that ensured a reliable buyer with an acceptable price. would highly recommend.

GoogleWe had quite a few agents touting for our business, but we didn't regret using Niral and his team. Always willing ensure we were happy with their approach, they made the selling process very smooth. We appreciated Niral's straightforward and transparent dealings with us and were delighted when the sale when through faster than we had anticipated. We have recommended Hunters to friends and would definitely consider using them again.

My boyfriend and I were purchasing a property through Hunters and they were pleasant enough. However, when we received the results of the independent survey two months down the line, it highlighted what we considered to be significant problems with the property, particularly the necessity of a whole new roof, and the replacement of brickwork.Naturally, we had not - and could not have - factored in the cost of these repairs, or the time it would take to carry them out, so we emailed our contact at Hunters in Sunderland, simply outlining the issues that the survey had presented, and attaching the report in full. The reply we received explained ‘The seller is not under any obligation to carry out any work or offer a reduction’. While true, this attitude seemed hostile to us, and rather unprofessional. We did not mention a negotiation of price, or the current owners carrying out the work themselves - although, to be frank, these did not seem unreasonable expectations.We had misgivings about how considerable an undertaking the repairs would be, both financially and physically, but were open to discussing options with Hunters/the sellers. However, we decided to withdraw from the sale, and Hunters’ attitude did play a big part in that. As a prospective buyer, you do not have a choice over which estate agent to deal with, but I would certainly be reticent about purchasing a property sold by Hunters in the future, and would strongly advise sellers to consider the overwhelmingly negative reviews on this page before engaging Hunters, as the wrong estate agent could scupper a sale, as in this case.

GoogleWe have had amazing service from Hunters in Amersham They have helped us to sell my stepmothers home including getting it cleared and cleaned and providing weekly visits to help comply with insurance whilst the house has been empty The legal process has been tricky and Hunters have supported us whilst we untangled them all Most importantly we have been kept informed and reassured

As working professionals who can rarely get free time during the weekdays, it's extremely annoying to book days off to view properties to find they're by application, and we submitted our application the day we viewed, only to have the application be rejected because it wasn't processed in time before the landlord accepted an alternative application. Not worth the time.

We drove over 250 miles to view a house listed for let @ £900. We said we like it and were happy to proceed, after all similar properties down south cost £1000 a month….We were absolutely shocked when they got back to us, offering us the house for £1000 because they knew we could afford it… we were aghast! I have never ever encountered such skullduggery and dishonesty…. Of course we declined… how can one deal with such a dishonest estate agent as these!

GoogleI have had dealings in the past with Niral and his team (Dominic and Nikki). They are the only estate agent that I would consider selling my property with. Polite, professional, honest and their knowledge of the current market value is second to none. Their knowledge of Chesham and Amersham is where they really excel. I would strongly recommend speaking to them if you are buying or selling.

Hunters Horncastle:If you are looking for an EA who keeps you updated and informed then I would NOT use Hunters, if you want the privilege of paying for doing your own work then by all means use this EA, also if you want to feel as though the EA is acting on behalf of the buyer instead of the seller… this is the one for you!!! They say the right things to get the initial business and then offer bad advise and never any follow up or conversations about the state of the market during contract period, even when requested. Also emails and WA messages were ignored. Worst Estate Agent I’ve ever used. It seems that Katherine (who did the viewings) and Susan (admin) seem to hold them just above water and do all the donkey work. Just my honest opinion!! Would have given zero rating if possible

We used hunters to put our house up for sale in October 2024. Despite a few problems with surveys etc Hunters manged to sell our house to a cash buyer. the communication and updates during the process were very clear and professional. Selling a home is a very stressful experience however hunters helped us throughout the journey

I was buying a house through hunters, wasn’t the best experience in the world. When it came to getting the keys from the bishop Auckland office, I was told to wait outside in the cold for 15 minutes, then presented with 1 key by itself, there was no congrats on your first home or any welcome gifts or anything, just here’s your key, see you later 👍🏼😂 got into the house, it wasn’t clean, the kitchen had been flooded which warped all the kitchen floor which I then had to pay to get it sorted. They should have done a check once the owners were out the house in order to make sure it was in a fit state and as seen on the viewings. I’ve since rented out houses around that area and stayed well clear of hunters, I would never use them again after the experience I had with them.

Poor overall! The property we were interested in was over valued by more than 10% and yet they wanted offers in excess of ?! My communication with staff was defensive and not amiable not sure why! My advice check out your move to check the property is actually worth what they say it is? Before you buy 🤗

Hunters castleford, WHAT a professional, pro active, friendly team, hollie, kiera, lisa could not have made the process simpler!!! Updated practically daily! On the ball! Ive used most of local agents over past 10yrs and NON have come close to their high standard of quick comnunication and friendly manner!!! Couldnt recommend highly enough!! Thanks to the whole team for making a difficult process as str8 forward as possible! Best agents local to me and would not hesitate to use again...although think i will be staying put for a while 🙂

Worst nightmare you could have if you deal with Hunters Abbeywood. No repair on time, always defensive and lieing even when you present them with evidences for their unresponsiveness. Always be a judge in their own case and their manager is also part of them. Please avoid them
