GoogleAfter a good initial impression (viewing etc) everything went downhill pretty much soon after. Could not think of a worse experience as a first time buyer.
My bank refused to provide a mortgage for the property they advertised. This was due to them not providing some basic paperwork (I was told this is standard requirements with new build properties), which led to the bank saying the property is unsuitable for mortgage purposes. When questioned, staff were really defensive and refused to assist with further documentation. All I heard was excuses, and what the developer will and won’t do. Rather than help me out, they pushed to use their own mortgage adviser (which would mean I would have rates that at far less affordable for me). They were really quick to as for a deposit of £500 towards the cost of the property, which I stupidly paid. Refused to refund it despite it clearly being their fault I had to withdraw my offer. Staff don’t even read emails, just copy and paste a template response. Once you point out their mistakes they’re rude and unhelpful.
Anyone that has got the tiniest bit of sanity, please do not repeat my mistake and fall for this trap.

Thank your for your review, having listened to your complaint, replied and then gone through the the Ombudsman complaints procedure I am disappointed you feel this way. The findings of the Ombudsman were that you had clearly not told the truth in your complaint and found that the agency had done everything properly and professionally. I am sorry you didn't receive the compensation you were trying to falsely claim and to use your words I would implore any agent with the tiniest bit of sanity, not to make the mistake of dealing with you. All the best in your future scams. Regards
