We have received excellent service from the staff at the Alnwick office of Sanderson Young. We rarely comment on service received however the staff and manager Gillian were very professional and guided us through the Sales process impeccably. The end-to-end transaction was completed without fuss or delay. Sanderson Young in Alnwick is our 'go-to' estate agent of choice. Our experience of other estate agents is mixed but Sanderson Young Alnwick delivers every time ... 100%. We have also Bought properties through the Alnwick office and we are equally delighted with the results. During our recent transaction we encountered a glitch with the survey - Gillian at Sanderson Young helped us to navigate this glitch and the Sale progressed successfully through to Completion. Gillian and her team are able to help resolve all obstacles that could delay a Sale or Purchase. Everything is so efficient at Sanderson Young in Alnwick.

We were very pleased with the service we received from Gillian and her team at Sanderson Young Alnwick. From early discussions, to production of the sales brochure with excellent photography, and throughout negotiations with potential buyers, Gillian kept us updated throughout and went above and beyond what we could reasonably expect... we had a particularly challenging, stop-start, scenario and Gillian helped to find a way around the obstacles in a way that enabled the sale to go ahead. She also worked closely with our purchasing agent at the other end of the country to ensure everything could be coordinated - thank you!

A seller wants to not only sell but complete.. A buyer wants a decent and quality transaction where they are looked after. This is what SY Alnwick gives. Gillian and the whole team know the market very well. Excellent at working with people whether a viewer, bidder , buyer or seller. No phone call or e mail is missed. 7/5 for communication. Its a personalised top quality service Brochure pics. Excellent. Gillian and team work VERY hard to get the sale complete and all happy .Good value for money te fees - and what you get here in addition is a sale with happy people all round which is worth its weight in gold. No price dropping with my sale as priced properly at the start. They do not base a sale on future price reductions. A huge thankyou to Gillian and team. Only they could have dealt with my transaction in the way it happened.

We cannot rate Sanderson Young’s Alnwick office more highly. Everything is done in a friendly, timely, efficient and utterly professional manner. Gillian understands the Northumberland property market (and its associated foibles) perfectly. We can happily say that we are more than delighted with all aspects of the service, from the initial consultation and valuation of our property, through the preparation of publicity materials and marketing, the showing to prospective buyers, to the negotiation of the sale price and dealing with our buyers’ solicitors (and this anxious customer!).

They say that buying/selling a house is one of the most stressful experiences of your life (and they're right), but the team at Sanderson Young were fantastic from start to finish. The valuation was carried out by Amy, who had an in depth knowledge of the local market and SY had sold a number of similar houses to ours for good prices. She instilled confidence by explaining not just the price she would advise marketing at, but also the reasons why. The photographs were amazing and definitely attracted lots of interest in the house on Rightmove and various other websites. We had lots of viewings on the house within a very short period of time and once those viewings turned into an offer, Debbie was excellent in helping us to negotiate an acceptable price. Once the sale was agreed, Sales Progressor Jeanette was very helpful in keeping us, as well as our buyer and vendor (and their agents and solicitors) up to date. I'd highly recommend Sanderson Young without hesitation.

The worst letting agent experience I have ever had. Avoid at all costs if you are below the age of 45. The service and attitude of the letting agents at Sanderson Young is shocking. After making an appointment to view a property, I arrived only to wait over half an hour with all emails and attempts of contacting the agent failing. After being stood up for the appointment (for which I had to rearrange my schedule and pay for a taxi to attend) the office informed me an appointment was never ‘officially’ in the diary and didn’t even apologize for the ordeal. But giving them the benefit of the doubt, I rearranged. I wanted to speak to a manager and inform them of the experience so they could be aware of the issue, and was hoping for an apology (or any decent customer service) only for the letting agent who stood me up to lie about why she didn’t attend, and even blamed it on me claiming I never followed up- when I said I had emailed and called her during her office hours she changed her excuse. After pushing MORE I finally got an apology. The kicker is the rearranged appointment was never followed up on. I never got a single call or email about it, so that one didn’t materialize as well. Other agencies in the area were also appalled by my experience and said they would never treat a potential client that way.I have never felt more disrespected during a letting experience. Needless to say, despite having some nice properties available, I will never be using their letting services again.

Awful service. Left my girlfriend standing in the cold for half an hour then never turned up. Upon ringing it turned out they “hadn’t put it in the calendar”. Booked another one for the Friday - never heard anything about that one either! Just seems like they couldn’t be bothered because we are young.
