GoogleWhilst viewing properties to purchase, we have now viewed 2 with Townend, namely Stephen Townend. He is by far the best agent we have dealt with who is knowledgable and actually spends time with you, not rushing and empathises with your current position. Politeness goes a long way - we appreciate it and hope to progress on a property with them soon.

GoogleI was recommended to use this company and after having 5 of their competitors visit I was baffled as to who to go to....until I got a last minute appointment with a tight deadline, honesty no jargon no hard sell just friendly and informative and no pressure. The Team made the process seamlessly easy no question was silly emails all responded with promptly, calls returned promptly. I absolutely would recommend selling with Townend and Clegg. Thankyou all for all you did to help me through a very stressful process 😊

GoogleThey don't even answer the phone. Tried getting through to them as I am moving out and need to drop my keys off with them but nobody answers the phones

GoogleWe’ve recently purchased our lovely house through TC&C and mainly had contact with Colette, who has been amazing to deal with. They were very on the ball and we think the purchase went through in 8 weeks which we were delighted with (comparing to our agents selling our home who took nearly 6 months!). If the time comes to sell again we will be using these as our sellers and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend to others. Thank you!

GoogleAbsolute worst company in Goole. Whenever we have issues in our property, we ring them multiple times we we keep getting promises that they will get back to us but they never do. Our shower has not been working for weeks now, being the only shower in the house, and they "can't reach the landlord". I probably won't be able to reach my bank when rent is due! Stay away from these guys!!! 🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮

GoogleStill waiting for them to sort our shower after more than two months. We only have 1 bathroom in the house with a shower, so we are unable to wash ourselves. Horrible company, horrible experience.

GoogleTerrible company. They want a proof of funds which is absolutely fine. However they want to see every bank transaction I've made over the last 3 months... that's an infingement on my privacy rights. Also their correspondence is terrible and rude. And the landlady who was renting the property was a weird control freak she said she kicked the last tennant out for not cleaning cobwebs... joke of a company do not rent from here.

GoogleWhat an absolute joke of a company. We are renting the same house through them for about 4 years now. Our radiator thermostat broke in the living room, and I've ringed them quite a few times about it in the last four weeks. They can't be bothered to at least get back to me with an answer if it's going to get fixed or not. We spend most of the day here with an infant and a toddler so we need the heating to work properly. The house has mould. After several complaints, I've got an answer basically saying if we don't like it, we can redecorate it on our expense. Worst estate agent company I dealt with so far..... DO NOT RENT FROM THEM! AVOID.

GoogleHad no issues with them from start to finish of us buying one of their properties, always easy to get in contact with, happy to give us advise on anything we were having issues with, showed up on time to both the viewings of the property.
