This is a terrible company

This is a terrible company. The surveyor who valued our property was clearly out of his depth, biased and required basic help from us to do his job. They are approved by VAS but do not let your bank nominate them as a company. They will take your money, produce a cut an paste report and undervalue your property as they will compare it with nonsense. The surveyor who attended us valued an 8 bedroom mansion farmhouse with highest standard equestrian facilities on a 116 acre working farm with working buildings at less than £1.3M. He called it an 'equestrian smallholding'. Other surveyors are laughing at the report produced and the bank concerned is allowing us to get another valuation as it is clearly so very wrong. This is their first review which says a great deal about the professionalism of this company. For goodness sake - stay clear and do not go for a job there!

I viewed a property with them and they didn’t even have the keys ready on the day. I then put in an offer at the full asking price, but they gave a silly excuse saying the owner was away. Once the owner returned, I never heard back from them at all. They clearly have no decency to update serious buyers and show a total lack of professionalism. Save yourself the time and hassle, avoid this agency altogether.

They didn’t have keys for the viewing, gave excuses when I offered the full asking price, and then never got back to me. A complete waste of time.

Testimonial for Tom Mason from Forge Property Consultants I would like to give this testimonial as a ‘thank you gesture’ to Tom, for the work he has so far done for some of our clients. We have referred Tom’s service to customers who either needed a Homebuyer Survey or when clients needed a professional valuation on re-mortgage or to repay the help to buy equity loan. Even when Tom was off due to health problems, his team still provided a superb service. We received excellent feedback from our customers which gives us confidence to further refer Tom and his Team. Tom is a very experienced expert valuer and always happy to help even if it is by a chat or second opinion. It is always great when the best professionals can work together. Once again, thank you Tom. Kind regards Tom Gronkiewicz DipFA Director at GRN Financial Services Limited

Myself and my wife engaged Forge to complete a Home Buyers Survey. The team at Forge were very helpful, explained the whole process and the options open to us and didn't try and up-sell us anything beyond what we needed. Their report was done quickly and we were able to use it to go back to the estate agent and negotiate a lower price for the house, which we were very happy with. I was very pleased with the service from Forge and wouldn't hesitate to recommend them, especially to first time buyers looking for peace of mind on their first home.
