The team in Witney went out of their way to assist in a very tricky sale. There are always on hand to liaise between the buyers and both sets of solicitors to get the move completed. TrustpilotIllegally charging for cleaning
We are currently in a dispute over a minute fraction of our deposit, as Breckon and Breckon has charged us for cleaning despite the move in condition and move out condition being near identical. When we asked (several times over several days) for evidence that the cleaning was actually required to return it to the move-in standard, they provided us with a falsified invoice. We discovered it was false based on the metadata edit history, and the letting agent admitted in an email after this that it had in fact just been edited to change what the invoice said.

We would strongly recommend this estate agent. Ollie was patient and understanding throughout, from our first viewing to finally getting the keys 6 months later (probate delayed things). He accommodated a very lengthy 2nd viewing with an architect and surveyor which we were very grateful for. He replied to all my lengthy emails very promptly and kept us informed throughout the 6 months. Thank you!

GoogleThis was my first independent house purchase which was complicated by a catalogue of issues, at one point I thought the sale would never happen. Luckily I had Dominic Simmons as my guiding hand and my absolute rock throughout the whole experience. He explained various complications including some legal jargon and reassured me during the whole experience. In all honesty, I’m not sure the sale would have gone through without him. I cannot recommend the Breckon and Breckon team highly enough, especially Dom.

GoogleWe viewed a property with Wayne back in July. We loved the house but also loved how amazing Wayne was. We'd looked at a lot of houses and Wayne was by far the most informative and helpful. Once our offer was accepted Wayne made the whole process as easy as possible. He was brilliant from start to finish, putting up with my many phone calls and lots of extra visits to the new house. We were excellent tenants who paid rent on time every month and maintained the property to the best of our abilities, yet Breckon & Breckon attempted to withhold £517 from our £1,125 deposit - nearly half of what we paid. They charged us for window mechanism repairs that were carried out a month after we vacated and after the property had been re-let to new tenants, despite their own check-out report making no mention of any window damage. They also tried to charge us £300 for bathroom redecoration due to "mould damage" when their own inventory photographs clearly showed the bathroom ceiling was already chipping and black with mould when we moved in.

GoogleSo far so great! The new Flat is great and moving in was easy. Chris had to preform a 3 month visit and he is a nice bloke. I used to rent through another company and they were awful! I wont mention their name but its a breath of fresh air thus far with B&B. Happy Christmas all and please do all sat safe and well.

They’re just sitting there to loot money. Hardly any service provided. They’ll eat your deposit money for sure. The customers are the only sufferers here, whether you pay a deposit or a reposit. They do not value customer’s money at all. Even after spending 250 on reposit and 400 on end of tenancy cleaning they’re charging 240 extra for dumb reasons.
