We used Peterkins' services to act on our behalf while purchasing our first house. Rhiannon was our solicitor and she was extremely helpful and patient explaining all of the legal jargon we didn't understand. Rhiannon was also very prompt in her responses to any queries we had, keeping us updated on the buying progress every step of the way. Sean was our mortgage advisor and, again, he was very helpful getting us our mortgage seamlessly. Even after our we had gotten our keys and technically finished the buying process, Fiona and Pauline on the finance team were happy to help us with questions we had regarding mortgage payments. We would absolutely recommend Peterkins.

I went with Peterkins to purchase my house in Scotland in 2022 and then to sell it in 2026. I had initially gone with the Real Estate Agents solicitor to sell but had to change after a complete breakdown in communication and went to who I knew (never should have done otherwise). Peterkins are truly amazing, consistent and constant communication, they know the business they are in and make the entire process extremely easy. They are competitive on pricing and beyond this just wonderful people and a pleasure to deal with. They have also handled my sisters purchases and sales, my brothers new build and sale of his old place along with my mothers new home after my father passed away. I can't talk highly enough of them and I direct anyone and everyone their way. Save yourself the problems I faced with others and just go with Peterkins directly, you'll have a solicitor for life. We were hugely impressed and would highly recommend them. We felt we always had access to a real person that could help answer any questions or concerns that we had (even holiday periods were really well covered). Selling a house is a stressful process and they were constantly available for advice and to answer any concerns that we had. After many experiences with letting agents over the years that have left lots to be desired, I was pleasantly surprised by the excellent communication and support during our tenancy. Usually it feels like all the effort of the letting agency goes to the landlords and the tenants are left behind with 1/2 fixes for problems and poor communication. I have pretty bad experience with this agency. First they didn't perform proper inspection of the properties before passing it to me. Only quick visual one by 3rd party with lots of points missed. After I received keys I found a few appliences with intermittant defects. Response from agent is amasing: "was not reported by previous tenant therefore don't not exist. If our technician will not see it during visit you will be liable to pay for the visit".
